I have a super clean temporary single room in my living room which is suitable for short term stays or longer. It's a brand new apartment with a private balcony and shared roof terrace.
Less than 5 mins walk to Stockwell tube (on Victoria and Northern lines).
A super chilled and clean large single temporary room in the living room of my new 1-bed apartment. The space in the room itself is large and comfortable, and you will have use of your own balcony. Additionally, you are welcome to make use of the communal areas while you are here.
The temporary room has ample storage/wardrobe space, and there is an actual single bed with table and chair, and a private balcony. It is a large space in the room, and is comfortable, cosy and has lots of light during the day. Floor lamp available in the room during the evenings. The bed comes with bedding - a pillow and single duvet. No bed bugs! The room is quiet during the night as it faces away from the main streets. The space is divided from the kitchen with floor to ceiling curtains and a wardrobe and bookcase.
The apartment has a good-sized kitchen and large bathroom. These spaces are shared with myself, but please feel free to use these spaces - please clean up after yourself and keep the place as spotless as possible!
Also, there’s a large terrace for the residents in the block - which is super chilled when you need some peace and quiet in Central London.
Downstairs is a new supermarket, so perfect for getting your breakfast in the mornings, or ingredients for lunch/dinner. I do not provide breakfast, but I have a good selection of teas and there is usually some milk in the fridge and cereal in the cupboards.
You can come and go as you please throughout your stay.
Included in the price:
Clean bed linen and a towel.
Free wifi internet.
Interaction with Guests
During weekdays I usually request before 8.30am (if there is no guest the night before) or after 6pm as I work full-time, but can be flexible if notified and discussed in advance.
Weekends are flexible. Please just ask!
I am a laid back and chilled individual who is renting out my spare space in my new apartment. As I live in the flat as well in my own room, please do not hesitate to ask any questions during your stay.
Stockwell Underground station is around 3 minutes walk away and is connected to the Victoria and Northern Lines.
Buses also stop outside the apartment building or no more than 3 minutes walk away. There are two 24 hour buses into Central London, and multiple buses throughout the day.
No smoking - smokers will need to leave the building to enjoy a smoke - it's a no-smoking building!
The location of the apartment was superb as it was close to the Stockwell tube station. The apartment was lovely and I liked the balcony very much. Stephanie was very lovely.
She is one of great host on AirBnB that I've ever experienced. Her place is great location, perfect to travel around London. And she is always there to support me in every way when I was there. Hope to stay with you again. :)
Brilliant host, really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room is EXACTLY as pictured, just as pretty and clean :)
Stephanie's humble abode was a superb respite from the chaotic center of London, while also being just a short tube ride from the city center. She had several maps and books available, which I found quite helpful. The apartment is quiet, warm, and bright, and the bed is marvelously comfortable. The fresh flowers were also a welcoming touch. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to book with Stephanie again.
Stephanie was a wonderful host! The apartment looks exactly as the pictures show, beautiful, clean, modern and comfortable. There is plenty of room in the bedroom to hang your things and spread out. The location is very convenient to the tube and safe. I would definitely stay here again!
Stephanie was very welcoming and is easy to talk to. She is very helpful and makes you feel right at home. Although I only stayed for a night, I felt really comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfy. i wished i could have stayed for another night. The apartment was easy to find and the direction given was pretty on point. The apartment is just 5 minutes away from the Stockwell station which you can get there directly from King's Cross using the Victoria Line. The neighbourhood is pretty safe and is not noisy although the apartment is right on top of Lidl. All in all, I highly recommend Stephanie's place and would definitely stay there whenever I drop by London.
Stephanie was incredibly friendly and good at keeping in touch. The apartment was about 2 minutes from the nearest tube station. The apartment building is very modern, with elevators and good plumbing, which is really nice after some of my experiences with older houses. The room itself was very nice, spacious with lots of storage available. I only stayed 2 nights, but would have been happy to stay longer. Stephanie even had some fresh flowers for me, and lots of maps of London. The only slight problem is that the mattress could have been more comfortable, but I would gladly stay here again!
I've been an Airbnb host since October 2013 and enjoy hosting guests from all over the world. As a previous traveller and having previously lived in different places including Asia and South East Asia for part of my life, this gives me the opportunity to continue a part of that experience, whilst providing a safe and trusted living space in my home for guests.
I love food, yoga, dance, art, travelling, movies, cycling, chilling, the sun, and enjoy everything else that life throws at me, most of the time. You'll most likely find me either chilling on my balcony when I'm at home, or at work in Central London.
