We are located in the heart of Napa Valley. A short taxi ride or 20 min walk from Downtown Napa. Our new trailer is roomy and large enough for a family of seven. It is Glamping at it's best!
You will have full use of the trailer that has full hook-ups which means water, electricity and full bathroom use. (Keep in mind the "tub" is small but you can stand to shower) The trailer has a master bed with curtain enclosures, a couch that makes into a queen size airbed, dinette makes into a full size bed which sleeps one adult or 2 children, and 2 twin size bunk beds that kids will love, although we have added 3 inch memory foam mattress toppers for adult comfort as well.
Animals live on our property, notably 2 miniature Dachshunds, but are low key and won't be a bother during your stay. Cats live on the property but have not entered the trailer so no need to worry if you are sensitive/allergic to cats.
You will also have access to our back deck and gazebo. Our deck has an additional propane oven/cook top. Access to gas BBQ grill is also included. We also have a fire pit with plenty of wood so you can enjoy gathering around the fire and sharing your day's adventures.
Use of bicycles and helmets are available. Please let us know prior to your arrival the size and number of bicycles you will need.
If you need to do any laundry during your stay, we offer our washer and dryer for a couple of loads, at no extra charge.
Interaction with Guests
We will most likely be present at the time of your arrival but will always be available by phone or text with instructions on how to access anything you need. Don't hesitate to text anytime with questions regarding how to operate anything in the trailer. We both work full-time so our time during your stay will be limited especially during the week.
We will be available to answer any questions you may have about the local attractions. We are not huge wine people but have plenty of friends who are and can answer any questions related to wine and local vineyards.
If it is privacy you want, this space is perfect. Please let us know if you would like us to make the dinette or sofa sleeper into beds while you are off to dinner, etc.
Keep in mind, the deck and patio area are shared spaces with our house guests, my family and pets.
Our home is located off the main street so it's safe and secluded. In the unfortunate event you must visit for a funeral, we are walking distance from the beautiful and historic Tulocay Cemetary. We are walking distance from Silverado Middle School which has an amazing new track if you want to get in some sprints!
We are located close (and by close I mean biking distance or a 20 min walk) to the Oxbow Market, the Wine Train, and downtown Napa. Drive or bike to Skyline Wilderness Park which has great hiking and mountain biking trails, or the Napa River for kayaking.
We have plenty of free parking on the premises. A bus stop is located just a few houses down the street and we are about a 15 min walk from the Napa Transit Center. We offer bicycles and helmets as well as the same map the bicycle rental shops have if you would like to bike to some local wineries. The map shows several different loops you can take along the valley for some amazing wine tasting and sight seeing.
Other Things to Note
If you have never stayed in an RV/Trailer, please keep in mind this is a living space made to tow behind a vehicle down the highway. It is made to sleep several people, not made to entertain several people inside. This is why we have opened up our deck/patio and gazebo for your use. It is glorified camping at it's best. It cannot be compared to a hotel suite, as that is not what it is, so please don't expect such.
Please let us know which beds you plan on using so we can make sure to show you how to make them into beds, where the bedding is stored, etc. The master queen bed is always made as well as both bunk beds.
The couch/sleeper and dinette get made into beds at bedtime. If we are available during your stay, we will be glad to make them into beds while you are gone to dinner, etc. Just text or call with the time you would like them to be ready. If we are not able to do this, we will leave instructions on how it is done.
Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 12pm. This allows us enough time to get everything ready for our next guest. No smoking and no pets please.
The reservation was canceled 11 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
What a great stay! From the breakfast pastries to the bicycles, we felt very well taken care of. The other reviews were spot on in terms of this lovely spot that is a 10 minute bike ride to downtown Napa.
Tammy and Loyd's glamping experience was by far the best air b&b stay we've ever had and we've stayed at about 10 different ones throughout the U.S. Everything was well thought out and they really did think of everything. Bikes ready to go, firepit with wood, clean and welcoming camper stocked with essentials such as water, ice, toiletries, granola bars, and popcorn. Tons of movies and games to use as well. The fresh baked scones in the morning also topped it all off. We felt like we were family here! Such a great experience! Maybe someday we will be back when we have kids to use the bunk beds.
Lloyd and Tammy were fantastic hosts! We had such a wonderful experience and would highly suggest it to any of our Napa travelers. This puts "glamping" on a different level. The camper had every amenity you could possibly want. We were quite impressed with how comfortable the shower was and the pressure was great. Lloyd showed us how to use everything, and was very helpful with recommendations around town. They allowed us to use their bikes and we rode down to dinner. When we came back, they had set up the fire pit, equip with a cute bag of s'mores ingredients! Our night was set! After a super comfortable night sleep, we were surprised with freshly baked chocolate croissants which were so out of this world! We didn't want to leave, it felt so homey! This place is a must book!
We arrived and we immediately greeted by Lloyd. He was so friendly and engaging. He showed us around the camper and made us feel very welcome.
The hosts were very welcoming and extremely nice. They did a very good job explaining the important things in a timely manner. Their bikes were a huge perk! Very comfortable trailer with great landscaping and very clean. They were very accommodating, especially with breakfast!
I woke up on the morning of Feb 14th, feeling hungry, and planning the valentine's day breakfast for my wife. Before I finished my thought, I heard a knock on the RVs door, and there was Tammy standing with deliciously baked chocolate scones. This is how incredible our experience was at her place. Tammy and her family made us feel welcome and gave us all the privacy we needed. The place itself was fantastic, very clean, private and well organized. More importantly, the place was less than 5 minutes drive from the Napa downtown and 15 minutes drive from the Silverado trail. I would strongly recommend staying in this property for an adventurous and private time in Napa.

Lloyd is a Superintendent, Division of Equipment, CalTrans (aka McGuyver), and I am an RN here in Napa. We love to meet new people and hear their stories.
We want our kids to see how other people live and interact so they will gain a broader perspective of the world and all it has to offer.
