  • I can't agree more with the opinions about Giles and Zoe apartment. It is exactly as described and comfortably slept 6 adults. We wanted to experience not only NYC but also Brooklyn, so the location was great for that (thanks for the tips because we followed them and they were great too!).

I can't agree more with the opinions about Giles and Zoe apartment. It is exactly as described and comfortably slept 6 adults. We wanted to experience not only NYC but also Brooklyn, so the location was great for that (thanks for the tips because we followed them and they were great too!).

The check in and check out process was very easy and Giles kept in contact before and during our stay every time we needed him, happy to answer all the questions we had. We also had the chance to meet Chris (co-host) who owns Summers, the bar at the base of the building, which we recommend too, especially for breakfast!

As I said, the location is great, really close to a subway station (Marcy Av) and with many bars nearby (Bedford Ave). We Highly recommend this apartment! Thanks for everything Giles and Zoe!

  • We were first time users to air bnb so were anxious as to what to expect. Giles and Zoe couldn't have made our experience any better, completely putting out minds at ease! The apartment was exactly as described and comfortably slept 5 adults, the location was great letting us experience Williamsburg with easy access to New York City.

The check in and check out process was seamless and Giles kept in contact throughout our stay, on hand to answer any questions we had. Recommendations on restaurants, transport and places to go were also provided, we had a great NY experience helped by the fantastic recommendations.

It was a pleasure to stay in Giles and Zoe's apartment and will definitely be back if we visit NY again! If you're using air bnb for the first time there's no need to be anxious Giles and Zoe will take good care of you :)

  • We stayed at the apartment for one week and it was excellent. It´s exactly as pictures show. We were 6 people and we didn´t have any problem with space.
The location is great, really close to a subway station and with many bars and lovely shops nearby.
Gilles and Zoe were always available for answering all our questions about the apartment and our trip in general.
I highly recommend staying at this fantastic apartment.

  • I had a wonderful stay at Giles and Zoe's apartment in Williamsburg. I interacted mostly with Chris (the co-host), as he is the owner and operator of the cafe/juice bar below. The rooms were spacious, the apartment was well taken care of, and I was able to make wonderful meals in the kitchen (well-stocked!) It's extremely easy to get around in the neighborhood, as there was plenty to do within walking distance. For a moment, there was a need for an air mattress as I had my whole fmily in town, and Giles and Chris were more then happy to accommodate. The only discomfort was due to my own physical limitations: as a bigger guy (6'4, 240) I had a tough time in the bathroom as it was quite small for me, but I would imagine is perfect for normal size people!

Everything was fantastic, and Chris was very patient with me towards the end. It was daylight savings time, and the clocks went ahead one hour without giving me time to adjust for my flight departure! As a result I wasn't able to clean as much as I would have liked to before checking out, but Chris was very understanding, and gracious about it. Absolutely great all around.

  • The apartment is exactly like the pictures. My four friends and I had an excellent stay in this apartment, there was more than enough space for all of us. We never got to meet Giles, however he was quick in coordinating everything over (website hidden)-host Chris who works in Summers cafe was very friendly and welcoming. It is perfectly situated. It's a 5 to 10 minute walk to the train station or a 20 dollar cab ride to Manhattan. The Williamsburg neighbourhood is very bohemian and very safe. There are many great eateries, cafes, and boutiques. I recommend Pies & Thighs, The Sweet Chick, and the Lucky Dog. I would definitely recommend this place.

  • Pictures look exactly as they are in the apartment. We fit 5 of us in here, and it was great stay. Cool area - the cafe downstairs is delicious.. It is a little bit of a walk to the subways but still only 10 minutes walk. A cab is like 20 dollars into manhattan, which between a few of you is no worries. Very close to a cool strip of restaurants! Met Giles and he was lovely :) very accomodating and helpful. They give you a little guide about New York - which is very sweet :) we had absolutely no worries with this place, everything was fantastic! Highly recommend.

  • Great apartment in a good location. Yummy juices and sandwiches below the apartment and super close to rad bars and eateries. Giles & Zoe were super friendly and helpful - even hooked us up with a free juice! Thanks! Recommend for sure.

    January 2014
  • Our stay in the apartment was great, convenient and good location. It was big enough for our family of 5, but not advisable for a much longer stay than 4-5 days with more than 4 people. Inventory is complete, with the exception of a TV.

    In short: good quality!

  • I had a great time at Giles & Zoe's apartment. It was big enough for the four of us and really really cozy. The neighborhood is really interesting and new, lots of cafés, restaurants and nice shops! The apartment was located in a perfect place, close to the subway, so no problem for visiting the city!
Even if I hadn't the pleasure to meet the owners I was help by lovely Chris, the owner of the café located right under the house. He is an amazing guy, really really polite and helpful!
    I decently recommend this apartment!

  • We had a fabulous time at the Big, Bright, Beautiful apt! Giles and Zoe were the most perfect hosts! Their response time was immediate for all our needs. The apartment was very clean! The location was perfect and a short walk to 2 main subway lines or a fun walk over the bridge! We were greeted with a complimentary treat from the Summer resteraunt at the base of the building...met the owner Chris who made us feel right at home! It was all around a great time and thanks too for ALL the recommendations! Everything was perfect and we will be back!! Thank you!! Shawn & Ben:)
