Situated on McCarren park, this large luxurious 1 Bedroom 1.5 Bath is at the center of the action in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Steps from all the bars and restaurants on Bedford Ave. Enjoy a gourmet kitchen, doorman, roof deck access, and close proximity to Manhattan via the L subway line.
The apartment has floor to ceiling windows with southern exposures and view of Brooklyn. The direct elevator access make for a dramatic entry. Sub-Zero refrigerator, Wolf range, and black granite countertops. DWR theater sofa, with 50" Plasma TV with Cable TV and DVD. Marble vanities in bathrooms, lighted magnifying makeup mirror, Zuma soaking tub and slate-tiled shower in master bath.
Common roof deck with sweeping views of Manhattan skyline and Brooklyn. Common gym area located on the roof as well.
Minimal interaction but will provide as much contact or information as needed. Very private, quiet, relaxing.
Williamsburg is known for being a hub for trendy bars and restaurants, indie music venues, vintage clothing, and a vibrant art scene. Music Hall of Williamsburg and Glasslands attract both big name and smaller indie bands. A new addition to the neighborhood is the Brooklyn Night Bazaar -- "a night market and concert space that brings together independent vendors, musicians, chefs and artists." Some excellent restaurants are Five Leaves, Aurora, Brooklyn Star, Paté et Traditions, Traif, Cafe Mogador and Peter Luger's. The apartment is also across from the newly renovated McCarren Pool and Play Center, with Olympic sized swimming pool in the summer and ice skating rink in the winter.
5 streets from the Bedford L subway stop -- you can be in Manhattan door to door in 10 minutes. From the airport, taxis can take the BQE (Brooklyn Queens Expressway) to the Metropolitan exit and turn right on Union Ave. If you would like to use a car service, I recommend Northside Car Service, which is local to Williamsburg.
Bottled water, juice and bagels provided. A complimentary bottle of wine is given to guests staying over 4 nights. There is a fold-out twin sleeper bed as well as bedding for the couch. Sleeps 4 ( best suited for 2 adults / 2 children). Please let me know if you'll need that before you book it.

Lane's apartment is fantastic in the perfect location to explore both Williamsburg and Manhattan. Very comfortable king sized bed, great kitchen facilities, and even a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival. Would highly recommend.
Such an amazing place! Lane was super helpful and was always there to answer questions. It was incredibly clean and well stocked (sorry we drank ALL the water!). I loved the look of the place, as well as the features (e.g., nice TV with cable and chromecast). I will be recommending this place to my parents and friends, will be back for sure. The neighborhood is great too, close to cool eats and the L, which is nice.
This simply has to be just about the best apartment I've rented on Airbnb so far. It's immaculately presented and furnished and ticks all the boxes as far as I am concerned. Lane is incredibly helpful and responsive as well, so it's pretty much perfect
I've been to Lane Apt for 1 week, and it is one of the best (if not the best) travel experiences on Airbnb. The house was full equipped with everything you could need: from orange juice, wine, chocolate, to iron, sheets, or everything extra. Located on the lively and central McCarren park, full of bars/restaurants/shops at the very bottom of the palace. Lane was great, always responding to all our requests. I would definitely recommand Lane house to anyone, and I hope to get back soon.
Lane and his place is more than I could have asked for. He was always there via phone whenever I needed him. Setup was easy, doorman was a ton of help and friendly, neighborhood was peaceful and safe, and the apartment itself was immaculate. Don't second guess when booking this place, especially for the price he has it listed for, nothing will beat it. He even had a bottle of wine for us, and the bagels with drinks stocked in the fridge just topped everything off. Wish I stayed longer. Already missing it all.
The apartment is perfect and Lane was very responsive via email / texts. This experience exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!
So this place isn't just an apartment someone rents out when he's out of town -- it is stocked and set up as an upscale, full service hotel suite. It's fantastic. This would cost $700+ a night at the Wythe or any decent midtown hotel. The space is much larger and more impressive than the photos convey; check-in was a breeze. Close to Bedford L stop. There was a complementary bottle of wine and some chocolates waiting for me when I got there (!). Fridge has OJ, sparkling water -- very nice! I don't know what else to say. If I'm staying in BK again I'm staying here.
The host also reached out via text to make sure I had everything I needed, which was nothing, because the place was perfect.
Perfect week-end visiting our children! Apartment was a dream and views were heavenly. Walking distance to so many great Williamsburg restaurants and watering holes. Lane was a superb host who anticipated our every wish -keurig, juices, bagels, wine bottle opener, comfiest bed, bath salts etc...No more over priced miniscule hotel rooms for us...we have found our go-to place for all future Brooklyn visits.
Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay! It was our first time in NYC and I would definitely recommend staying in Williamsburg. It's got a great vibe and so easy to get the subway to Manhattan from Lane's apartment. The apartment was just as it looks in the photos, clean, modern and very comfortable. Lane was always easily contactable and helpful, what a great place!
Lane's apartment is stunning. We felt like we'd stumbled into a trendy five star hotel. It is stylishly and thoughtfully decorated, and it turns out a lot of the art is actually by him. Everything was pristine, there was a bottle of wine and chocolates to greet us, water and juice in the fridge, and bagels in the freezer. Lane also left a helpful list of local restaurants, bars and cafes, including family-friends ones for us. Lane responded promptly to e-mail and phone calls. I doubt you could find a better host or apartment.
