Enjoy on-site snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, or take a short drive to world-class skiing, spas, restaurants, and shops. Located on a quiet, private road, the renovated home blends modern comforts with rustic charm. Unwind on three private trails, ideal for meditation, grounding, and reconnecting with nature.

The space
Our home is the perfect spot for a fun country getaway! This luxurious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat features a gourmet kitchen, cozy shared spaces, and all the modern perks—WiFi, HD TVs, and Satellite TV with HBO and Showtime. With two fireplaces and a wood-burning stove, you'll stay warm and toasty no matter the season.

Outside, 11 acres of pure Vermont wilderness await! In winter, snowshoe or cross-country ski through the snowy countryside, or build a snowman before warming up by the fire. Our Stone Cottage is teeming with wildlife—keep an eye out for wild turkeys, white-tailed deer, and maybe even a glimpse of our elusive moose and bears!

For outdoor fun, gather around the fire pit with stone seats or explore the trails that lead to the beautiful Sterling Brook, winding right through the property. Adventure and relaxation all in one place!

Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to the entire house, making it a perfect retreat for those seeking both luxury and tranquility. Dog lovers are welcome to bring their furry friends for a one-time fee of $200 per dog ( Max 2 dogs). No other pets accepted.

The master bedroom is a sanctuary in itself, complete with a fireplace, Satellite TV, and an en suite bathroom featuring a rejuvenating steam shower. Bedroom 2 offers a cozy queen bed and Satellite TV, while the third bedroom provides two twin beds—ideal for relaxation or meditation.

For the culinary enthusiast, the gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a wine refrigerator, brand-new appliances, and everything you need to prepare anything from a quick snack to a five-course gourmet meal.

Two inviting living areas offer cozy spots to curl up by the fire, read a book, play board games, or indulge in premium Satellite TV with HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Apple TV, and a DVD player. The home also comes with a washer, dryer, ironing board, full linens, towels, hairdryers, and a dishwasher for your utmost convenience.

Physician married to neuroscientist. We have recently purchased a magical cottage in the woods of Stowe Vermont and spent a year fully renovating it. It is surrounded by beautiful woods and trails as well as a creek which we love. Have started a native plant garden around the house. We are avid dog lovers and our dogs travel with us. We welcome well behaved dogs. We love the house and it is our second home not just a rental property. We want everyone who stays at thehouse to love it as much as we do and will do everything we can to make sure they enjoy their stay.
