A unique cave house built into the face of the cliff overlooking the majestic caldera. Private plunge pool and terrace where you can spend the entire day admiring the views. The epitome of slow living in Oia.

The space
Built around 1400, renovated in 1990, and located in the earliest inhabited part of the village of Oia. Situated adjacent to the Venetian ‘castle’ it boasts a spectacular view of the caldera and has easy access to all of Oia's amenities.
This is a renovated cave and represents a way of life that was quite different from today's use.
We have tried to remain true to these roots and hope we have achieved a simple but comfortable environment. It is a small space to rest and recharge your batteries.
It has 1 bedroom with a double in the deepest part of the cave and then 1 a single in the living area, we can add a fold up bed. It has kitchen facilities, a bathroom with shower and WC and a private plunge pool.

Guest access
If you prefer to cook for yourself the house is self-catering and has all that you might need to prepare a meal - two supermarkets are located near the main bus terminal, a five minute walk from the house.

Other things to note
The plunge pool is not operational from December 1 - March 31.

If you enjoy walking and swimming, there are three diverse swimming spots nearby, just ask us for directions. If you enjoy peace and quiet and spectacular sunsets, Oia has plenty of both. In the Summer the island is bustling and Oia has many of the island's best places to eat and drink. In the cooler months the island quietens down and Oia is incomparably peaceful.
