This is a quaint bungalow with lots of style!
It has 2 bedroom plus office and 1 bathroom. You can find 2 flat screen tvs, a wood fire place, backyard patio cabana area, completely stocked kitchen
If you're a TV fan, we have 2. One 70" in the living room and one 32" in the master bedroom for the late night watcher.
The master bedroom is over-sized so there's no need to feel crammed when you hear the word bungalow. Both beds are covered in lavish linens, complete with feather beds and cozy pillows for every taste. There's Lots of space and nooks to get away in. The house sleeps 4 comfortably (1 queen air mattress) but can accommodate as many as 6.
The office is convenient for the business traveler and has all the amenities from the land line phone, fax, and copier. All you need is your laptop.
The kitchen is completely stocked and ready for you to make that gourmet meal.
The outside patio Cabana area is great place to socialize year round / day or night. With the built in lights, its makes a great night under the stars.
The bus line is nearby. There's plenty of great restaurants and shops just down the road. The beach (gulf) is 15 min away and the Pier and downtown can be seen in a bout 10 min. Tampa International Airport is about 20 min from here. Clear water Airport about 15 min away.
We have 2 adult bikes to ride and a few beach items for your use. There are great bike trails all over to hop on to.
Comes stay for week! You'll be glad you did! We'll leave the light on for ya!
The guest has access to the entire home. No areas are shared. The laundry room is located in the garage.
I will usually try to greet the guests upon arrival and make myself available by phone for any questions or concerns. As long as nothing has been damaged or broken, they can just leave the key on the counter as they dart and lock the front door on the way out. If something has been damaged during their stay, I can come by to address it. Most things these days are replaceable.
I love the central location and easy access to beach, downtown and highways. I love the brick paved streets and the many bike trails. A great plus about my house is that is in a perfect central location. It is just between 3 main waterways. The St. Pete Beach, The downtown and Pier, The Gulf port water ways / streets of outdoor vendor/shopping. Very low key and laid back. What a way to vacation!
There is a great Italian market about 5 min. away that has a neat wine/cheese room, cafe and coffee bar, amazing full service deli/luncheon area, grocery and hard to find items. Its a must see when visiting the area. Then or course, there's all the Beaches and Pier downtown St. Pete!
Plenty of street parking or there is some in the back.
Public transit a few blocks (website hidden). Petersburg is always hopping with events. Everything from light shows, to boat races, walking tours and sand sculpture contests.. Its always sunny around here, so we can have fun outdoors just about all year round

No smoking in the house. Only on the front or back patio areas
Having tried two homes in Denmark we decided to try for our short vacation in Tampa, the house we felt for was Cindy’s cozy bungalow in a quiet neighbourhood in St. Petersburg. From the first email exchange we felt Cindy was a special person and so her house. When we arrived our feelings were not let down! Cindy’s house felt instantly like our own and the neat touches Cindy done inside the house such as luxurious lines, pillow and covers on the beds, the plenty fresh soft towels combined with the wooden floors and furnitures, a kitchen with anything a semi professional cook can dream of were all the dot over the “I”!
The refrigerator was stocked with the basic essential so no need to rush out to buy (we arrived late afternoon), despite the local is Walmart just a few blocks away.
The outside area is super, there is a BBQ and two wonderful seating areas one on a newly made deck, having a wood fireplace for the cold evenings and covers for the rain. We used both, in fact we managed for the few days to have to lovely BBG evenings for the three of us!
Wi-Fi is essential for me due to my work and it worked without a flaw and so the printer in the office room.
The small eating area in front the kitchen is a small gem in its own, we loved to take our morning coffee/tea and breakfast there.
We had the great pleasure to meet Cindy who was as nice as the emails indicated, as real wonderful person.
In summary we had a great time and we for sure not only recommend Cindy’s house but we will at anything come back.
Location, location, location! This cozy bungalow, located in a quiet neighborhood, is 10 minutes from the beach and 10 minutes from downtown St. Pete. You can shop for anything you need within eight blocks and, if you use public transportation, there's a bus terminal nearby. Western Central Avenue is getting more developed, with cool restaurants (try Urban BBQ at 20th Street), vintage clothing stores and antique shops. Mazzaro's, on 22nd Avenue north, east of 34th street, is a wonderful Italian market with a great wine selection.
The deck is the star of this show. In mid-March, we spent nearly every waking hour there.
Cindy provided loads of towels and washcloths, basic toiletries and basic starter foods, including coffee, tea and all the condiments. There were even a few beers in the frig.
Wifi was essential for us and it worked great. We brought an extension cord so we could do some work while on the deck.
The price was commensurate with the accommodations.
I have stayed in many five hotels I put this experience on that level. Cindy has make her home feel like your home in every respect, from the bedding to the linens towels etc. The outdoor space is fantastic I have family in the area and I am a big BBQ person and hosted a large group of my relatives. The decor in the house is very tastefully done.
The house is 5 mins by car to the public beach (which is very nice). Walmart is a few blocks away and everything is near by.
I had the pleasure of meeting Cindy and as a hostess one could not ask for more she provided a starter frig as my flight gone in very early. Plus she left some homemade cookies that went very fast, my only complaint is I wish she made more.
I would go back in a heart beat.
A big THANK YOU
Cindy made us feel very welcomed and provided many wonderful things that had us feel at home. Little touches like white fluffy bathrobes, luxurious linens, pillow and covers on the beds, many fluffy towels etc. She had very kindly asked us what she could have for us at the houses to get us started when we arrived. She supplied all that we requested plus surprised us with a freshly baked delicious banana nut bread that she had made - amazing! I thought the house and back deck were lovely and Cindy has done a wonderfully job decorating and furnishing it.
We spent 10 days at Cindy's lovely home. She is a wonderful host with super nice accommodations. The new mattress was awesome! Within 10 minutes of everything we wanted to do. Loved her new deck and the fire pit. It was especially nice to bring our dog. We had a fixture not work and within the hour it was fixed! Very responsive. Would definitely recommend her and her property!
Thanks Cindy! Barb and Steve
The reservation was canceled 29 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Cindy was a very gracious hostess, easy to work with, friendly, and offered a lovely and cozy home for my friends and I to catch up for our 10 year reunion.

I am an easy going gal who loves to stay busy. I have managed bed and breakfasts over the years and know what good linens and a gourmet breakfast are all about!
Im in school now for more design training and certification. .Everyday is a new adventure! My secret passion has always interior design and I always like to create in my free time. I just moved to St. Petersburg, Florida from Denver, Colorado in November 2013. I had a lot of fun with Airbnb guests while I lived in Denver so it was easy to step back into it when I moved to Florida. Its a little warmer here and the beaches are so much fun!
This place has a lot to do and see and there just doesn't seem to be enough time to get to it all in.
