The Space

Hello All,

I live/work in Sacramento during the week however my partner lives in Napa so I frequently leave town on the weekends. If you are booking a WEEKEND stay then the entire home will be all yours (Friday-Sunday). And if you are booking DURING THE WEEK (Monday - Friday morning), you are booking my guest room and sharing the rest of the house/bathroom with me.

The room is my guest room on the second floor of my 2 bedroom/ 1 bathroom condo. The room is pretty big and has a new Full bed that sleeps two comfortably. Plenty of closet space to hang clothes and bed side tables with drawer space (6 drawers total). Full bathroom (shared during the week) is located right next to the guest room (fresh towels and toiletries are provided). The second bedroom (my bedroom) is locked and not available for AIrbnb use.

Guest Access

I will provide you with a key to the front gate and the house upon check-in. You will have access to not just your bedroom but the entire house, including the living room and kitchen downstairs.

The second bedroom (my bedroom) is locked and not available for AIrbnb use.

Interaction with Guests

I'm a 20-something gay guy that works in downtown in marketing. I have another Airbnb listing in Napa and have been doing Airbnb for a while now. I have a small dog named Minnie (she is an Italian Greyhound mix) that is very friendly and well behaved (no barking, hair, or odors). I'd love to chat with all my guests but I have a busy schedule so will likely be out of your hair for most of your stay (and totally gone if you're booking on the weekend).

The Neighborhood

I am in a great neighborhood of Midtown Sacramento called Newton's Booth that is easily accessible to the highways but also within a short bike ride or very inexpensive cab from all the bars and restaurants. Temple Coffee, Revolution Wines, Pushkins Bakery and Sacramento Food Co-op are all within walking distance.

Getting around

The house is walking distance to various bus lines but you're less than a five minute drive to all the restaurants/bars in Midtown so I recommend a cab or short drive (Sac is also very bicycle friendly).

There is off-street parking available but I personally prefer parking on the street as there is ample availability and it's safer.

Other Things to Note

I will likely only accept reservations from guests who have multiple reviews and/or references. At the very least, I expect a social media verification. It's really easy to ask a friend to give you a reference on Airbnb, so I recommend it to those without any reviews.

Guests with dogs are welcome to book on the weekends (dogs must be house broken). I'm open to dogs during the week on a case by case basis.

Guests with young children or babies are welcome to book on the weekend only.

This is a 420 friendly house but please open a window and clean up after yourself.

  • Chris was a wonderful host and stayed in great contact to coordinate arrival. Also appreciated his tips on getting around mid-town. Super friendly.

  • Had a great month with Chris. I was doing a surgery rotation at UC Davis medical center so we didn't see a lot of each other but he was very friendly and offered to help when I needed it. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with him again and I certainly am going to give him a shout next time I'm in Sacramento!

  • Chris' place was wonderful! Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet Chris in person because he was out of town. He gave me a call a couple days before check-in to introduce himself and give me the important information on how he would get his keys to me. His friend, Gaby, was prompt and welcoming. Chris' place is very cute and spacious...perfect location for a weekend getaway or longer stays. Thanks Chris!

  • Chris and his charming townhouse were both equally amazing!! Chris was very flexible and accommodating the entire time and I couldn't ask for a better host! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the rustic chic decor, cozyness of the place and proximity to downtown. I hope to be back at this little gem again soon! Thank you, Chris :)

  • Our one-night stay at the townhouse was great. Chris was a nice host and gave us a tour when we came. The place was clean and organized and also in a great location of Sacramento. The neighbourhood was safe and also quiet. We took advantage of the beautiful sunny day by walking into Old Sacramento and Downtown. The State Capitol is only a 20 min walk from the townhouse. After our long walk we were able to relax on the comfy sofa and watch TV.

    Would definitely recommend staying here!

  • Chris's place was wonderful. My girlfriend and I were in town for the marathon. It was perfect place to relax the day before the race. Well located, comfortable, clean and the cookies he left us were great. This was our first Air BnB experience but it definitely won't be our last we very much enjoyed it. Thanks again Chris for making our stay a great one!

  • Staying in Chris' townhouse was a great way to experience Sacramento. He was such an incredibly generous host, and his place was absolutely fantastic. I arrived to a clean and super welcoming bedroom (with homemade cookies on a plate!) and he recommended some of the places in Sacramento I should check out. His place is in a great part of town, walking distance to most everything, in a cute and safe neighborhood. He even gave me a lift to the airport at the end of my stay! I highly recommend his place if you're looking for somewhere in Sacramento - I couldn't have been happier with my experience!

  • Very clean and modern town home. Decorated in a contemporary motif with colorful and comfortable guest room. Conveniently located for business travelers as well as visitors to the Capitol. I will certainly stay here again while in Sacramento for business.

I have recently relocated to Sacramento by way of Napa by way of San Francisco. My partner still lives in Napa so you will usually find me there most weekends. I've lived all over the country but like to call San Francisco home. Currently, I work in marketing in downtown Sacramento. I love food/cooking, wine, working out (crossfit and running), dogs and travel. Big believer in paying it forward. "Most people are about as happy as they make their minds up to be". - Abe Lincoln
