Land Park is one of Sacramento’s oldest and most historic neighborhoods. Centered by William Land Park, the community is located just south of downtown Sacramento. Its architecturally distinctive vintage homes, tree-lined streets, historic acorn streetlights, and treasured local businesses make Land Park among the most desirable neighborhoods in which to live. It also has a small-sized zoo, golf course, and children's amusement park.
There is a Target a few blocks away as well as restaurants, shops, banks, and a very cool independent movie theater (Tower cafe and movie theater). We are located 6 blocks off Highway 5, 80, and 99. We've listed more in our guidebook.
Bus 6 & 38 come by about every 30 minutes and are less than a block away. Check out the SACRT website for route maps and details. We prefer riding a bicycle or walking to get around. Ask us about loaner "his and hers" bicycles.
Distance from our house to:

Great place to stay! Hosts are very welcoming and fun to hang out with :) The home is in a great location in Sacramento, close to great nightlife/resturants, parks, and close to downtown attractions. Loved it!
Great place to stay...Tony and Heather are so very nice and easy to be around. Thx H
The space is as described and better. Heather and Tony are thoughtful hosts with great instincts for hospitality. There home and neighborhood are a fine example of why I enjoy visiting/working in Sacramento.
Great place to stay and very convenient to downtown Sacramento. Tony and Heather were great host. I hope to stay with them again when traveling to Sacramento in the future. Thx Ya'll!!!
What a great place to stay if you're visiting Sacramento, and amazing hosts! The room is clean, large, and wonderfully decorated. The Wi-Fi is quick, and they even have a guide for their guests, so you know where everything is inside the house, as well as the good restaurants and entertainment in their neighborhood and wider Sacramento. Will undoubtedly be looking to book here again when I'm in town. Also, parking is a breeze, and their neighborhood is residential and yet close to downtown. Awesome. Thanks, guys!
Enjoyed our quick trip. Always feel welcome at Tony & Heather's.
Have a great 2015...
Felt very welcome on arrival. Great house and charming neighborhood. Sorry we missed Tony, but we'll be back.
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving...Daniel & Katie
We are happy-go-lucky vegetarian folks, avid bicyclists (Tony rode his bike from Seattle to Santa Cruz), and scooterists (we rode our Vespas through Mexico 2 years ago). We also love to travel (we've both backpacked around 21 countries) and enjoy the Northern California outdoor lifestyle.
A few of our favorite international cities so far are:
San Sebastian/Barcelona, Spain
We will answer any questions you have about Sacramento restaurants or other nearby attractions. We're both from the Bay Area so we can answer those questions too. Our room is in the back portion of the house which gives our guests privacy but often enjoy spending time socializing with our guests when we have the time.
