Land Park is one of the best places to live in Sacramento. Its location is about a dozen blocks to Midtown, Downtown, and Old Sacramento restaurants. The park itself in a very green with lush trees throughout and contains a small-sized zoo, golf course, and children's amusement park.
There is a public bus (Bus 6 & 38) that comes by about every 30 minutes less than a block away, but I prefer riding a bicycle or walking to get around. Ask us about loaner "his and her" bicycles.

Tony & Heather were AMAZING hosts! I stayed with them while I was relocating from out of state and they couldn't have been better. The house is adorable and the guest room is so comfortable! They added some really great touches to make it feel like the perfect home away from home. I would highly recommend them as hosts or for tips on where to go in Sacramento :)
I had a great adventure for staying with Tony and Heather. It was a new learning opportunity after I was traveling independently for the last few years. My host family welcomed me on the phone. I was able to check in myself to adapt the challenge since they were out of town at the first day.
I am grateful that the neighboorhood was quiet. I also met both side of neighbors when I first arrived and they were very friendly to me. Finally, it was nice to meet Tony and Heather in person on the following day.
My bedroom was spacious and comfortable. I especially love the table lamps by my bedside. It looked very warm and inviting at night. The area rug was pretty. I also had a good size of desk at the bedroom to do my work. Overall, I enjoyed my bedroom. We were able to coordinate the schedule to share the one bathroom at the house.
Tony and heather are very hard working and busy for doing the house projects during my stay. They are also very easy going, casual and provide me great open space and privacy. The location is very easy to take the public transportation. I also visited the Zoo at the land park. Overall, my trip was so very memorable to me.
Tony and his girlfriend Heather are the nicest people imaginable. Very welcoming and friendly, they make it clear from the outset that they are not only happy to share their home - feel free to use the living room and kitchen - but interested in meeting new people as well.
For the most part, I was interested in sleeping since I was jet lagged from a trip abroad, and they were more than accommodating when I was asleep.
Not only were they friendly and courteous, they were great fun to talk with, especially about music and Vespas - two of their favorite topics. Since I ride a motorcycle and have a wide variety of musical interests, we had plenty to talk about.
Upon arrival there are guides to Sacramento, a space heater, world travel guides on the night stand, even tiny samples of Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner - very considerate.
I can't imagine a better home bnb experience!
Tony is a great guy , he show me eveything his friends , where he work , with great first time impression. He trust me the house , the place is very good i dont have any trouble. I just stay for a few days so i couldt enjoy more Sacramento.
If you need a place to stay in Sacramento this place is a good choice.
Tony and his girlfriend, Heather were wonderful hosts. Fun to talk to, had great recommendations for veg-friendly places to eat around town and even surprised us with treats in the morning! A very sweet (pun intended) and unnecessary gesture. The room (and entire house for that matter) was simple, clean and spacious. We were passing through Sacramento on a road trip north and needed a convenient place to stay. The location was perfect with easy access to the freeway and close to downtown where we spent most our limited time in the city.
Tony was very helpful and flexible and guided us to two of the best restaurants in town! His place is sparse, but comfortable, and conveniently located: we visited the Crocker Art Museum, downtown mall, and Old Sacramento.
