We arrived on our Honda Goldwing on a quite warm afternoon and Pauline met us at the garage door and let us into her secure parking courtyard. She made us feel right at home and gave us a tour of the kitchen, making sure we could find the tea, coffee and anything else we needed.
We occupied the upstairs area, with comfy queen size bed and large ensuite. It was quite warm up there but one window could be opened and there was an air conditioner, which we switched on for a while during the night.
Pauline was friendly and generous, interesting to chat to, and we felt at home. We shared her kitchen, lounge room and courtyard. The kitchen was really nice, with a great selection of tea and coffee, and the adjoining courtyard was a great place for breakfast.
The house is in central Adelaide and is close to Hutt Street, which has pubs, restaurants, general stores, a petrol station and frequent bus services. Pauline gave us a set of house keys and we walked into the CBD to do our sightseeing. After several hours of that we returned on the free city circuit bus, which stops only 200 metres from the house.
A great base when in Adelaide.
Pauline's house is in a perfect location for everything! The room is gorgeous, beautiful ensuite & air conditioning.
Pauline is very welcoming & lovely to chat with.
Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Adelaide!
Thanks Pauline, was a great stay!
Pauline is a great host - responsive on email/text, accepted our request immediately, and made us feel at home. Her home is very well located in the heart of Adelaide, easy walking distance to restaurants, bars and transportation, and the room with en-suite is very comfortable. This was the first time my boyfriend and I stayed in a shared house on AirBnB and it was a good experience, with a good amount of your own space with the separate loft area.
I love the location and the tranquil setting at Pauline's house. Pauline welcomed me with a cup of tea and gave me lots of infomation. I had a very pleasant stay in a safe and clean house. The free bus and tram are just around the corner and you can easily explore the city easily. I highly recommended Pauline's house to airbnb lovers !
Pauline was very efficient in confirming the booking and a very welcoming host. Her room is indeed a tranquil spot in the city.
My husband and I have just returned from a lovely weekend in Adelaide staying with Pauline. Pauline was welcoming and wonderfully organised re key pick up. The room and the bathroom were both large and airy and very clean. We appreciated the large walk in robe where we could hang our good clothes.
Pauline's home is in the perfect location. Two minutes away from great restaurants and cafés and about a 15 minute walk to the city centre.
We would whole heartily recommend Pauline's airbnb accommodation and would happily stay again.
Thank you Pauline.
I would be very pleased to share my city home with you.
