This quiet room in my 2-room apartment is available by the night as a great alternative to hotels (and hotel prices!) - located on beautiful Golden Gate Park, across from the art and science museums, and more! Great public transportation to the ocean and downtown.
Your room has a one-of-a-kind view of the Presidio and the Marin Headlands, making for an enchanted and tucked away feeling in the heart of a great city!
Golden Gate Park is your front yard! Literally footsteps away from world-class museums and the destination site of the Conservatory of Flowers.
Interaction with Guests
I am a studious writer and creative, and enjoy hearing about the travels of others over a cup of coffee or tea in the morning - or happy to leave you in peace to enjoy your morning view of the fog rolling over the hills.
In more than 3 decades, I have lived in most every neighborhood in San Francisco, and this spot in the Inner Richmond is my favorite! Being midway between the Pacific Ocean and the bustle of downtown, the location is ideal for every type of traveler. Golden Gate Park is a crowning jewel - for runners, walkers, museum-goers, nature lovers and even can enjoy a formal Japanese tea ceremony in the Japanese gardens. For art lovers, the de Young Museum's outdoor sculpture garden is free, and the gift shop a great stopping place for take-home gifts for friends and family.
The 5 Fulton bus stops right outside the door. There are also other bus routes within 2 blocks - but you can get anywhere on the 5, including to BART for those venturing across to the east bay. You can also rent a bicycle just next door at the bike shop!
No late night partying, no additional guests, including pets.
My stay at Tressa was wonderful! She welcomed me with warmth and many little attentions that made all the difference and made me feel at home at her place. Really, I would enthousiatiscally recommend Tressa.
Tressa's apartment is so beautifully located across the street from Golden Gate Park and conveniently has the 5 bus stop out front. Her home is cozy and had all the essentials I needed. I loved looking out the window in the bedroom and seeing the mountains and lovely forests. It's a very quiet and calming environment. Tressa is incredibly sweet is a great conversationalist who I enjoyed talking to.
Great value and location. Steps to the 5 Muni, great line which goes downtown as well as connecting with most other. Also across the street from golden gate park and short walk to de young museum. Recommended.
