You'll be staying on a centennial farm that is still in operation today. You'll have access to over 1000 acres where you can feel free to walk, ride your bike, snowshoe, or cross country ski.
YES, we do allow pets! :-)
*First pet is free, there is an additional $20/pet after that
No ATV/Snowmobiles please...

The space
Original with the farm, the 100 year old house has been redone specifically for the farm experience. You can interact with the five full time farmers on the premises if you choose, or sit on the deck and watch the cherries blossom with Lake Michigan in the background.
You'll be less than 10 minutes away from boat launches at Torch Lake, Lake Michigan and Intermediate Lake, so make sure to bring the boat, there is plenty of parking available. If you're a land dweller, OUR OWN WINERY CELLAR 1914 is located on the premises, Shorts Brewery is a 15 minute trip, Mammoth Distillery (which uses our cherries in their cherry bounce) is a 10 minute drive located in the heart of Central Lake. Ethanology which we supply corn for their whiskey and cherries is located 20 minutes away in downtown Elk Rapids.
You'll have access to the apartment portion of the house in which we have redone. You will have a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen area (without oven, but with stove top and microwave) large living space, large deck with a grill and a newly added fire pit in the yard. There are stairs to climb to access the house and there are sounds and sights that happen on this farm that are beyond our control.
***** You receive one free wine tasting during your stay as well!

Guest access
You'll have access to over 1000 acres of farm land. Feel free to walk around and take in the fresh country air and learn where and how your food is being grown. Also check out our Winery CELLAR 1914.

Other things to note
Again, there are sights, sounds and smells that are beyond our control, it is an operating farm.

Some of us do not even lock our doors at night... Peaceful, calming and a great place to recharge the batteries.

Passionate! We've enjoyed having people stay on the farm and they can learn about what we do and how we operate. We're always on the premises and more than happy to talk about what is going on the farm today.
During your stay
This is a fourth generation farm, work begins at 5am some days and goes till 1am the next. There is typically someone always on the premises and we are happy to interact with you, but if you're looking to get away and not see more than a half dozen vehicles in a day, we totally respect that.
The garage below where you is where we have our cherry pitter set up (For the month of July), so from the hours of 8:30am-6pm Monday-Saturday there may be people below you. But you are welcome to go pick cherries and use the machine as well.
We also have a WINE TASTING ROOM on the premises which will cause more traffic at the south end of the property not near you.
