How do you feel about my place so far?
I needed a temporary place to stay in a short notice and requested a week to week accommodation. I did not have any problem during my stay and Mr Lowe has been an engaging host.
John was a perfect host and I couldn't have chosen to stay with a better person in St. Louis.
The house is very clean and my room was comfortable with a big bed. This was the first time I tried Airbnb and John went the extra mile to make me feel at home.
He offered to drop me to office the first day. He helped me in purchasing my car - drove me to many prospective sellers and even helped to get the car serviced. He knows a ton about cars.
Always offered to make me a coffee every morning and always ensured there was breakfast available in the morning.
He also took me out on hikes and trails. One weekend, we also went to Ozarks.
I am fortunate to have found such a good host. Will definitely stay with him again next time.
Home is on a dead end in a quiet area, but within 20 minutes of everything we wanted to visit. John was a great host and a wealth of information.
John was very friendly and accommodating. Quiet neighborhood with easy access to the city via car.
As the other reviews indicate, John is a genuinely hospitable host who wants his guests to have a good experience. He is very helpful and courteous. His home is on a very quiet street surrounded by greenery and not far from a municipal park. It is very peaceful.
Offered to make tea for me -- made sure everything was available. Sweet guy.
I just moved to St. Louis, but needed a place to stay until my apartment was ready. John was very welcoming, outgoing, and helpful from the moment we met until the day he dropped me off at my new home. He picked me up at my hotel (all of my luggage in tow) drove me to the house, and then continued to give me a ride to work every morning. Above and beyond doesn't even come close to describing John's acts of kindness and generosity. Breakfast was prepared every morning and he even made sure I got my vitamin C. He has a wealth of information on St. Louis, the entire area and places abroad as well. I had a wonderful time visiting him and I thoroughly enjoyed our morning conversations over coffee and the news. We even watched the Oscars together, and I was fascinated by his stories of Hollywood, when he lived there. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was good, and the house itself was very comfortable. I am so glad I found John's place, and look forward to staying in touch now that I live here.
