About This Listing
Formerly an architect's office, this fully furnished 2-bedroom home is located on Main Street 1.2 miles east of Preston Road. Its proximity to North Dallas and the sports mecca of Frisco makes it ideal for the guest who desires a comfortable home-style setting away from home.
There are two bedrooms, one with a twin trundle bed which opens to a king-sized bed, the other with a queen bed. A sofa bed in the living room makes into a queen. Each room is stylistically decorated with renderings of the architects' designs in and around Frisco and McKinney. There is a full bath with a tub/shower and a 1/2 bath in the utility room, which also houses the washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and utensils, a full-sized refrigerator, ice maker, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, and a new oven and cooktop. The living/dining area features a 40" flat-screen TV and ample dining table which can seat 6. A small office with wireless Internet allows the businessperson to create a functional and comfortable workspace for telecommuting. There is a shaded back porch with picnic table and a gas grill for your outside enjoyment. 2-night minimum stay.
Convenient to North Dallas and Frisco shopping and dining, as well as the economic boom areas of Frisco and McKinney, and the sports venues of the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We had 4 adults and 2 toddlers and we had plenty of space for the kiddos to play and the yard was great. The home was clean and well stocked. Georgene made our experience very convenient with check-in and check-out. The location was perfect for us as we were attending a conference at the Dr Pepper Arena. We would definitely rent this home again. Thank you for a peaceful and convenient experience.
We enjoyed our stay at Archasita! Georgene and her husband were attentive and accommodating. The house had everything we needed for an enjoyable and productive stay. Whether you need a peaceful retreat or a place to get lots of work done, this meets the need for both! The cows and horses at the surrounding properties provided lively scenery as well. A perfect blend of country and city life!
Had a wonderfull stay at Archasita. The house was as described. Has the country (very peaceful) feel but close to downtown Frisco. A very kid friendly house with a great fenced in backyard. My grandson loved seeing the cows every morning behind the house. The house was very clean and well stocked with paper products, laundry & kitchen detergent, dishes & cookware. Georgene was very accommodating. She checked on us throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. I will stay at Archasita every time I am in Dallas if there is an opening!! Thanks Georgene for everything!!
We enjoyed our stay at Archasita! Our host, Georgene was outstanding and very accommodating. She made sure everything ran smoothly. She even supplied a hairdryer after my inquiry before arriving! The house was just as described with comfortable beds and a generous supply of paper and cleaning products. The backyard was a nice bonus for our grandson. We liked the country setting yet we were only a few miles from Preston Rd for shopping, etc.
Archasita was just as described. Clean and comfortable, well equipped for our computers to setup, good appliances, etc. Georgene contacted us the day before and the morning of our arrival as well as afterward to be sure we had settled in alright. We found the area to be very friendly and hospitable. This is a good central location from which to explore the communities north of Dallas. Our visit was less bucolic than anticipated due to some highway construction nearby. This was of course beyond control of our hosts. Note: They have a wonderful architectural library.
My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Archacista for our "staycation."
It was only minutes from our kids, yet felt like we were miles and miles away!!!
The house is centrally located, so we were able to do anything we wanted in short order.
It's ten minutes from the Stonebriar mall, yet it feels "out in the country."
Like the previous poster stated, there was construction but the house is well insulated and we were not able to hear the road noise.
The queen sized bed we slept in (we didn't use the other) was very comfortable.
The house was was exactly as described and we would love to stay again.
