Awesome and Fantastic - 2 words to sum up my experience staying at the Riad. My friend and I arrived at Marrakesh on 9 Mar and we rented 2 rooms from 9 - 13 Mar 2015. Upon arrival at Jemaa el Fnaa, we waited for Kamal to pick us up as we were not sure of the route to the riad. Omar, whom i had been liasing with was out of the country, so his brother Kamal was there to assist us. Once again, I am amazed by the great hospitality that both my friend and I received when we met Kamal for the first time. He was very helpful and made sure that our stay was a pleasant one.
The breakfast was a hearty one and served punctually every morning. The rooms were simply fantastic - clean and tastefully furnished. They were spacious too, especially for my room. My friend and I met other guests who were equally impressed with the place.
If i do visit Marrakesh in the future, this riad will definitely be my first choice as it is quite near jamaa el fnaa square. Most importantly, the host (both Kamal and his wife) are truly kind, helpful and caring. From my friend and I, Syukran and Jazakallah Khair.
Omar picked us up from the bus-station and immediately made us feel welcome in Marrakech. Omar's brother and his wife were very helpful, made us really nice breakfast (even when we had to leave at 5 'o clock in the morning) and arranged a taxi for us. We really enjoyed quiet ambiance in the Riad, which was needed after some hours of strolling trough the busy and chaotic city. The sunbeds on the roof terrace were also really nice. We really enjoyed the neighbourhood, which was a bit past the most touristic part.
Very nice room in a newly renovated riad, the people were friendly but it was a problem that the wifi did not work in the room. Breakfast was not as delicious as the other places we stayed in Morocco. We missed freshly squeezed appelsinjuce and fruit salad. The coffee was instant coffee. For the price, all in all a great place. Note: We did not stay in this riad, but another one located in Arset Loghzail 11th
I can't say enough good things about Omar.
He went way beyond with helping than I would have imagined.
When I mentioned that I would be leaving early the next day he offered to prep a mini breakfast just for me.
He also arranged for an airport p/u and drop off.
Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!
