Rosanne is a friendly and gracious host. She thoroughly went over all of the home's amenities and how to use the kitchen facilities and bathroom. Her home is just as lovely as it is in the pictures, more so! Everything was very clean and tidy. The backyard was a nice place to rest and relax where I enjoyed working on my computer with the company of her little dog Wilfred (so cute!) and her bunny HipHop. Rosanne even offered to pick up groceries for me while she was at the grocery store.
This was my first experience with Airbnb. Rose's was the best choice I could have made. The house is lovely and welcoming; full of travel books and memorabilia. Rose is a fountain of information as she is a well seasoned traveller. The location, while not in the CBD has buses or one could walk or ride a bike. It's close enough, a five minute walk to shops, supermarkets, trendy North Hobart, 10 minutes to MONA if you drive. The more I explored the more I found. The quality of food, linen and house maintenance is impeccable. Wilfred the little house dog will entertain and is much a part of the total experience. I can't thank Rose enough for her wonderful hospitality.
Good location with shops just down the road and ease of access to the city. The house is very comfortable and the room spacious. Rose takes a lot of pride in the house and is a gracious host. Loved the pets, loved the zero hassle stay. Nice and quiet and an ideal base to adventure out from. Thanks Rose for a great intro to AirBNB.
Rosanne has a beautiful home and she keeps it spotless clean. It has been an absolute joy to stay there! She is also very nice and helpful and she knows the area very well. And, Wilfred is the most adorable little dog that did his own part of making you feel welcome in the home. I can absolutely recommend place, enjoy your stay!
Thankyou for a great stay Rose, it was great to meet you!
Rose was the best host. My stay with her was comfortable, relaxed and exactly what I wanted for my Hobart trip. She was helpful in every way and her property was wonderful. Super clean and centrally located (20 mins walk to centre / 5 mins on the bus / $10 by cab). I'd recommend this place to everyone.
Rose ensured that my arrival at, and access to, her home would be as easy as possible. The house is in a great location, very close to the North Hobart retail and restaurant hub and within walking distance to the New Town shopping village.
The house is beautiful, comfortable and impeccably clean. I witnessed Rose on her hands and knees preparing a room for incoming guests! She'd put Cinderella to shame!
The house rules were clearly explained, and I was made to feel very much at home.
Rose was a most welcoming host, friendly, unobtrusive and so gracious when I slept in till midday!
My room was gorgeous, comfortable and spotlessly clean. I really appreciated the quality of the bedding and linen.
I could not find fault with Rose as a host. Her home is of outstanding quality and I would recommend a stay to even the most fastidious of potential guests.

Hi, my name is Rosanne, however most people call me Rose.
I am based in Tasmania, but love to travel, South of France being one of my favourite destinations. I am also in love with the buzz of big asian cities like Hong Kong.
We enjoy love hosting people from around the world.
Previously I was involved in the homestay program hosting O/S students which has been a great for both my son and myself.
I look forward to sharing a little bit of our paradise called Tasmania
