Quiet, simple cabin with modern comforts overlooking the Marengo River at the end of a secluded dirt road. Enjoy the back deck with river views and a peaceful Northwoods setting. Pets welcome. Nearby hiking includes Copper Falls State Park, St. Peter’s Dome, Swedish Settlement, and more. The cabin borders 400 acres of public land with groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails for year-round exploration and relaxation.

The space
Two of the bedrooms each have a queen size bed, and the upstairs den has two futons that fold down into beds for additional sleeping space.

The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, cookware, utensils, a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, stove, and full-size fridge so you can easily prepare meals during your stay. Fast wifi is available for streaming, remote work, or checking trail conditions before heading out.

Please note: the trail from the back deck down to the riverside fire pit is fairly steep and may not be suitable for everyone. The cabin is located deep in the woods and about 7 miles from the nearest paved road, offering plenty of privacy and a true Northwoods experience — your car may get dusty!

You’ll find a grill and outdoor dining area on the deck overlooking the river, perfect for coffee at sunrise or relaxing in the evening. Pets are welcome.
