We had a great experience at Scott & Jenny's place. It was very well air conditioned in the basement area, we had plenty of room for 3 people. The only downside we had was traveling up stairs to get to the bathroom (sink, shower, toilet). They had a nice full kitchen we used for breakfast. We are big on cleanliness and felt this place was very well clean. I'd highly recommend!
Jenny made sure we were alright and didn't have any issues with our arrival in the city. The place was great, very Lovely home. Had our own privary in the huge basement room with the AC. Perfect for 3 or 4 guests. Complementary coffee and bottle water really appreciated. Avondale turns out to be a fantastic neighborhood, close to Kogan Square with great restaurants (definitively recommend Longman & Eagle if you stay at Scott and Jenny). All in all, we were really lucky to fall upon this lovely room for our stay in Chicago. Definitely recommend this place for others if they don't mind a 15-20 min walk to the subway or a 5 min walk to a Divvy station.
Scott and Jenny were great hosts. They took the time to give us some good tips and directions for getting around the city and were available of we needed anything. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were friendly. Everyone we saw said hi or started a conversation with us. We couldn't have asked for more. We were surprised to be able to utilize the entire house during our visit. This was a very welcome surprise and made our stay even more comfortable. It was great being able to do a load of laundry and cook a meal when we wanted.
Perfect spot for my overnight stay! I am a 'senior' traveling alone....and I felt safe and well taken care of. I was greeted with a warm welcome and had snacks before bed! The home was in a quiet residential neighborhood. Highly recommend!
Mr. Scott and Jenny are very nice host. The room in their house are very clean and comfortable. And parking outside is convenient. And they are very considerate. Scott gave us a lot of advice on our trip. I am very happy to live in his house.
