Marco and Inna were generous hosts and their building in the heart of the old town of Genoa was the perfect location for our stay. The bedroom and private bathroom were immaculate and beautifully presented, ideal for our needs. Marco also gave us a bit of history on the building, which was very interesting. He also recommended we visit Varazze beach, a short train journey from Genoa and a worthwhile trip. Genoa has much to offer in terms of history, culture, bars and restaurants and Marco & Inna's place is at the epicentre of the good stuff - bravo!
We had a wonderful two-night stay with Inna and Marco - the perfect hosts! We spent one night in their B&B and one night in the apartment, both totally gorgeous and the building's location was ideal, on a quiet street just off the very central Piazza de Ferrari and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Genoa. The apartment itself was stunning - simple but quirky and stylishly furnished with lovely personal touches like biscuits and toiletries. It had a spacious and well-equipped kitchen so would be great for longer stays where you want to cook, plus the most beautiful decor of any AirBnB flat we've stayed in (basically, I want to live there please). Inna and Marco were great, accommodating hosts; very special thanks to them for going the extra mile to post a dress on to our next location when I stupidly left it behind in the wardrobe! Overall, a lovely experience.
My best friend and I had a lovely two nights at Inna and Marco's home, which is in a convenient location...we were able to walk to the old port as well as Garibaldi street and enjoyed viewing the Spinoza palace. An easy train trip to Cinque Terre was also a highlight. With more time we would like to see Columbus's house and the Palace of the Prince. We originally booked the apt shown, but it was terribly abnormally hot during our stay and we chose a room on a lower floor in their B n B. which was comfortable with a fan. They were both very helpful and Inna prepared us a lovely breakfast each of the two days. I recommend them very highly. tip: tell your taxi to drop you in Piazza San Mateo, not Piazza Ferrari as we did...the walk downhill with all our luggage was an adventure! Marco had to come and rescue us! There are lots of hills in Genoa!
We spent five days at this flat located in the center of Genova. Great (email hidden)e flat comes with a large bedroom...very comfortable bed...good size kitchen and tiny bathroom. ..the only problem due to the hot weather was the inadequate size of the single fan provided by the owner. All in all a good accommodation if you wish to spend a few days in Genova. ..
There is so much to love about staying here! Inna was welcoming, and the room was very clean and tidy. The location was top-notch-- ideal for wandering through all the alleyways of Genoa or using the metro very easily.
When I booked my visit, I wasn't aware that this is actually a guesthouse with multiple rooms. The listing for "entire home/apt" is not truly accurate- the booking is for a room in an apartment operating as a guesthouse. There is no problem with this, just that upon first glance at my booking I wasn't aware of that fact.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Had a lovely breakfast the next day and Inna was very gracious and hospitable. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you so much!!
We were there for two nights. The apartment is good, nearby the subway station. Marco is very nice and kind to answer all our questions. We had a small fan but the middle of July is really too hot for Italy so the apartment is a little bit warm for sleeping.
