Beautiful and comfortable apartment just renovated, with a paved garden, close to all services, shops, tram, bus and railway. The international airport Leonardo da Vinci is just 20 minutes far. the apartment is very quiet (3/4 persons)and actually is an wide open-space with a comfortable kitchen and one sofa bed, there is also a double bed (120 cm wide)but in the photos is not visible yet.I also have a private room that is always closed when I have guests in the apartment( I'm not leaving there during your holidays) ) The bathroom has a big shower. It's possible to reach the very heart of Rome in a short time. Trastevere, the famous open market Porta Portese and largo Argentina ,Colosseo are just a few minutes off with the tram number 8 that is 'just in front of the apartment and is' active until two o' clock pm. Monteverde is a lively and very green district ,with italian and international restaurants ,pubs and bar. Villa Pamphili the biggest park in Rome, is just '5-minute walk, and it's near the Gianicolo, where you can see all of Rome and St. Peter church. It's possible to reach Temini Station with the bus H that is just in front of the apartment! It's possible to smoke in the garden!

Freddy is a very good host. He welcomed us when we arrived and helped us find a nice pizzeria nearby. We enjoyed the pizza at "La Gatta Mangiona" nearby :)
Freddy is always available, likes to help you and makes you feel at home!
The apartment is typical Italian. It is nice, confortable and easy to keep clean. It also has a terrace, although we did not use it much in the winter. The bathroom has a good shower. The kitchen has every thing you need and is equiped with table big enough for four people. We did not like the couch too much, but that is maybe personal...
Shops are nearby and the tram to the centre stops close by. It is a good place for enjoying Rome, while living only a short distance away from the busy touristy places.
Very nice apartment in Roma, near Vatican! Good location! Very helpful host! Clean! Highly recomended!
Many thanks to Freddy and Antonella for our perfect vacation! The apartment is very nice and comfortable. Everything you could required is available there. Furthermore, the location is very good: lots of good dinning places, supermarket. The big park, which is well enough for jogging, is near! It is very easy to get to the center of Rome (tram #8, the tram stop is near) and to the airport (from the Trastevere train station).
Antonella was very accommodating – it is really appreciated :))
We really enjoyed staying at Freddy's apartment, it was very clean, spacious and an easy tram ride to Trastevere and the centre of Rome by tram - the stop is just near the apartment. Freddy was very accommodating and helpful and gave us some great tips of where to eat - make sure you try Mo' Mo' Republic if you stay, it's within walking distance. We also stopped at the Violet Cocktail Bar/cafe near the apartment, they make a lovely negroni and caprioska! Thanks Freddy for a wonderful stay, we hope to return soon!
Lovely apartment, well positioned in very "Romanian" district :) close to the market and few dinning places. We especially loved breakfast at the one (4 mins from the apartment) where no one speaks english, espresso + panini with sign language... mmm ;)
We definitely love that place
Our family spent 6 days at Freddy's house.Freddy was on his holidays, that is why his friend Marina met us at his house. She was very polite, friendly, cheerful and helpful. We had some problems and Freddy helped us on- line very quickly.
With the help of train number 8 it was easy to get to Piazza Venezia, there was an excellent pizzeria not far from the house.I really recommend this house. Thanks a lot!
Our stay at "Vacanze Romane" left little to be desired! Antonella has newly renovated the apartment in a fresh and spacious manner in which one feels both at home, and as if on holiday.
The outside terrace was a delightful place to unwind or have breakfast, and the bathroom with its oversized shower was a delight.
The location in Monteverde Nuovo is terrific as well; just next to a vibrant fresh food market open 6 mornings a week, and in a neighbourhood with good bars and eateries, where one is part of the Roman way of life, not just another tourist entrapped in an enclave of mass tourism. For those who seek to run or see another side of Rome, the Pamphili gardens just to the north. The number 8 tram is right on the doorstep and provides a regular and rapid service to the city and transport hubs, and is a great way get around.
Most importantly of course, is that staying here was a pleasure from the moment of first contact. Antonella and Freddy went out of their way (quite literally), to assist us at every opportunity. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was sad to leave. I look forward to returning soon when requiring a base in Rome.
Freddy's apartment was great for us. The tram/bus/nightbus stop is right out front of the apartment. The tram goes to Plaza Venezia in about 15 minutes. This was great for us as we weren't staying in ground zero of the millions of tourists but that area was still very easily accesible. The outdoor patio was huge and nice to have a glass of wine at night. The apartment had everything you need to cook, etc. Will definitely stay here if we come back to Rome.
