About this listing
Meine gemütliche Zweizimmerwohnung am Lietzensee-Park liegt super ruhig und dennoch verkehrsgünstig zwischen U-Bahnhof Kaiserdamm und S-Bahnhof Messe-Nord/ICC.
Hi and welcome in my cosy appartement in the heart of Charlottenburg, almost integrated in the beautiful park of Lietzensee.
It takes 5 minutes by foot to the Messe/ICC, 8 minutes by metro to Zoologischer Garten, 10 to the Ku'Damm, by train ca. 55 minutes to SXF (37 EUR by cab) and 20 minutes to TXL (12 EUR by cab).
It's perfectly situated for everybody who loves vibrating cities like Berlin but needs an oasis of silence for sleeping.
The apartment has a giant bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room, so it's perfect for up to 4 persons.
There is a washing machine with dryer, a TV, WiFi and everything you need. It's not a "holiday apartment", I used to live there till 2 years ago by myself, so it's fully equipped - and, if you miss something, my new home is only some steps away - you can knock at my door and ask for anything you need.
The only thing is - 1/3 of the closet is still full with my stuff. What is not critical at all, as the closet is really huge.
Parking is no problem - on the street beside the park, for free.
Each guest receives at check-in the password for the wi-fi connection.
Bed linen and towels are inclusive. You can find in the flat a hair dryer, a flat iron, the kitchen is fully equipped, you have everything you need for a relaxed stay in Berlin.
I have no fix check-in and check-out hours: whenever you need it and it's possible for me, depending on other bookings, I'm doing my best to let you have an early check-in or a late check-out.
For any other questions, just contact me!
I am happy to host people from all over the world and I am very grateful to airbnb for all the positive experience I had till now with my guests!
Please don't smoke and don't ruin or take away as a souvenir any shell or book!!
Highly recommend the flat and the neighbourhood. No complaints and Daniela was delightful. We had a wonderful time and Berlin is great and very easy to get round.
We felt very lucky to be there.
We were warmly welcomed by mr.Dohan sr., as Daniela was at work upon our arrival. He switched on the heating for us and made sure that we confortably settled. In the evening we have been invited and had a nice tapas dinner accompanied by live jazz music in Daniela's wine bar, Amarcord. Daniela has been very attentive and welcoming, we hope to have the opportunity to meet her again.

Alles perfekt!
About the Host, Daniela
Hi! I was born in Transilvania, I studied German and Italian language and literature at the Bucharest University (during the period of the revolution) and I came to Berlin with a stipend from the Humboldt Universität in 1991. After one semester in Berlin I could not imagine anymore to leave this city. Anyhow, Berlin was indirectly my hometown since my childhood because my granny lived here in the 20-ies and she used to tell me a lot things about her youth in Berlin...
Since one year I am running a café, the Amarcord in Friedenau. Many guests visit me here, especially for music events.
I love travelling - all kinds of travelling - everything but club-holidays in a fix hotel. The most exciting holidays I had till now where 2001 - 1 month by my one in Rio, 2005 - 1 month travelling by bus with my boyfriend through Mexico and 2008 travelling with my boyfriend by car through Costa Rica. In Europe I love most Sicily and Andalusia.
I love diving and skiing, books and movies, my parents and my friends, good food and wine.
My favorite books are: "When Nietzsche wept" - Irvin D. Yalom, "Và dove ti porta il cuore" - Susanna Tamaro, "De ce iubim femeile" - Mircea Cartarescu, "Briefe in die chinesische Vergangenheit" - Herbert Rosendorfer, "Die Glut" - Sándor Márai & a lot more
My favorite movies: My life whitout me, The bridges of Madison County, Il Ciclone, Benvenuti al Sud, Non ci resta che piangere, Cinema Paradiso
Favorite music: Ligabue, Quadro Nuevo, Maná, Eva Cassidy, Marc Anthony
Favorite food: caponata, taglioglini al tartufo, Spinat mit Spiegelei, salata de vinete, chicharrones de chiclana, bolinho de bacalao...
Languages I speak: German, Italian, Romanian, English, Siebenbürgisch Sächsisch (an old funny German dialect) and Spanish (very very bad Spanish, hope I will improve my Spanish with my guests)
