119 Calle Reina is a large spacious colonial home located in the historic district of Ponce. It is two blocks from Plaza Las Delicias. The house has an art gallery type setting. Yoga is often practiced in the main living room. There is a lush outside courtyard for your relaxation. Shared meals are possible and the house comes with kitchen privileges. We prefer a vegetarian diet and non smoking. The house has two available bedrooms and shared bath. Ponce is a walking town but a car is necessary to reach the easily accessible mountains and beaches . We have a 31 acre organic farm that is 15 minutes from town. It is available for your enjoyment too. We have a sweet non-barking dog that shares the home. We have learned from our guest that they wish they had stayed longer. Because we are a B&B home stay versus a hotel we have a two day minimum. If you prefer to stay only one night we do have an extra charge of $10 to renew the room. We look forward to hosting you.

Mark's house is a beautiful old historic house, full of interest and Mark's own artwork. Its very central location is perfect for exploring Ponce, but its position on the junction of two busy roads does mean you will notice the traffic noise. To be fair, when we stayed, there was a big festival going on in Plaza Delicias, so there was more late night traffic than normal, no doubt. Mark was very welcoming and is a fascinating person to get to know. Don't be put off by the fact that there is no air conditioning, as the large ceiling fan keeps the room pretty cool. Breakfast options include the Hotel Melia coffee shop and the Ramada Hotel Mela coffee shop, both very reasonable price wise and very close by. We can also highly recommend the closest restaurant, Chef's Creations, for an evening meal. Parking on the road immediately outside was no problem.
A lovely spot! Comfortable room. Nice to have wifi. Mark and Swan were both so lovely and we appreciated their recommendations for day trips (including Guanica - we ended up taking the ferry to Gilligan's island and snorkeling, which was fantastic) and Toro de Negro forest. We cooked together one night and sat around the table and talked together the next night (not a lot of vegetarian restaurant in Ponce, and it was nice to have access to kitchen to cook tasty meals). Mark and Swan are such interesting and welcoming people. It was a delight to get to know them.
What an amazing experience! We fell in love with Ponce as soon as we reached Mark's house,Mark and Swan are incredible ,they are the most welcoming people we've ever met .they are so helpful ,sharing all their knowledge with us.
We already miss those dinners we had together ,it was a life changing experience ,we are looking forward to a life time relationship will have with them.
I can only recommend them highly ... Spending time at Mark's house is the best you can get in town!
This house and it's owners are just amazing! I've never had such a special air bnb experience. You will fall in love with this beautiful, historic home as well as Swan and Mark, who are more than just hosts, they are wonderful people that you will never forget:)
It was really an experience to live in one of the ponce´s old cityhouses! They did a great job at restorating the old building and keeping the great charme! the house is perfect located to explore the old town by food. traffic and nightlife can really get loud at the weekend! mark and his wife are really nice people! we had a good time there!
This is an historic home, lovingly renovated and filled with original art as well as antique furnishings. Our host was helpful in every way and made us feel very welcome. As others have suggested, there is a lot of loud street noise but this does seem to quiet down during late hours ... or one learns to adjust. The location is within easy walking distance of the central plaza, good restaurants, ice cream shop, and many historic attractions. The bathroom is shared but this did not create a problem. We would happily stay here again.
We had the most perfect stay in this Ponce oasis. Mark and Swan are such incredible hosts. It was the perfect way to end such special trip.
¡Salud y buenas rrspiraciones! Hasta siempre.
We had a great stay with Mark in Ponce. His home is a palace full of art he made himself. Mark and Swan were warm helpful and generally great hosts in Ponce. The only problem we had was that we only had one day to stay, this place (and the company) practically beg you to sit down chill out and enjoy your surroundings.
Mark and Swann were friendly, welcoming hosts and we enjoyed cooking and sharing dinner with them both nights during our stay in a beautiful bedroom. Buchi (dog) was sweet as could be - it was a lot of fun playing with him on the beach!
The farm was a nice place to visit, though still in early stages of getting established so the only harvest we shared in was a bit of lemongrass for tea. If we should return to Puerto Rico in a few years, we'll definitely want to check out whatever Mark is up to by then.
