119 Calle Reina is a large spacious colonial home located in the historic district of Ponce. It is two blocks from Plaza Las Delicias. The house has an art gallery type setting. Yoga is often practiced in the main living room. There is a lush outside courtyard for your relaxation. Shared meals are possible and the house comes with kitchen privileges. We prefer a vegetarian diet and non smoking. The house has two available bedrooms and shared bath. Ponce is a walking town but a car is necessary to reach the easily accessible mountains and beaches . We have a 31 acre organic farm that is 15 minutes from town. It is available for your enjoyment too. We have a sweet non-barking dog that shares the home. We have learned from our guest that they wish they had stayed longer. Because we are a B&B home stay versus a hotel we have a two day minimum. If you prefer to stay only one night we do have an extra charge of $10 to renew the room. We look forward to hosting you.

We had the most perfect stay in this Ponce oasis. Mark and Swan are such incredible hosts. It was the perfect way to end such special trip.
¡Salud y buenas rrspiraciones! Hasta siempre.
We had a great stay with Mark in Ponce. His home is a palace full of art he made himself. Mark and Swan were warm helpful and generally great hosts in Ponce. The only problem we had was that we only had one day to stay, this place (and the company) practically beg you to sit down chill out and enjoy your surroundings.
Mark and Swann were friendly, welcoming hosts and we enjoyed cooking and sharing dinner with them both nights during our stay in a beautiful bedroom. Buchi (dog) was sweet as could be - it was a lot of fun playing with him on the beach!
The farm was a nice place to visit, though still in early stages of getting established so the only harvest we shared in was a bit of lemongrass for tea. If we should return to Puerto Rico in a few years, we'll definitely want to check out whatever Mark is up to by then.
ON A TWO WEEK TOUR OF PUERTO RICO, WE STAYED ONE NIGHT WITH MARK. I ENJOYED HIS COMPANY SO MUCH I WENT BACK AND STAYED FOR ANOTHER 4 DAYS.THE ROOM WAS ROOMY AND VERY NICE. I IMMEDIATELY FELT AT HOME. A CUTE DOG AND QUITE GARDEN ONE BLOCK FROM SQUARE AND A GREAT RESTAURANT CHEF'S CREATIONS AND LOLAS HIS GUESTS AS WELL AS FRIENDS WERE VERY INTERESTING .
WHAT A LOVELY HOUSE. WHAT A CHARMING MAN, AN ARTIST, A CIVIC LEADER WHO IS RESTORING AN OLD MANSION, A FARMER, AND GREAT HOST. WE COOKED AND LAUGHED AND TOLD STORIES THE WHOLE TIME!
HISTORIC PONCE IS A DELIGHT. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN. KEVIN & VANESSA FEB 2014
We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything is correctly described it really is like an art gallery.
The big difference is how much time and effort mark put into helping us to enjoy our visit to Ponce.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. The facilities were easy to share with mark and swann. We would definitely stay again.
John and I really enjoyed meeting Mark and Swann. They are very real and warm and thoughtful and ready to make the folks who book with them comfortable and satisfied.
Our room was very nice with the mattress quite supportive. The bathroom was just across the hallway and the tile everywhere was both classy and practical. The shower functioned very nicely.
The only drawback was the house sits on a busy corner. Car noise and a number of dogs in the neighborhood added to the cacophony of sounds found in Ponce specifically and Puerto Rico generally and made really deep sleep elusive. However, one just had to use earplugs and understand the situation and location of the house to be fine with it.
It was the wonderful spirit of Mark and Swann and the artistry of, and throughout, the house that will have us stay there again. We felt very fortunate. Jeff and John from Baltimore
This was a great place to stay! Mark and Swan are so hospitable, kind and friendly. The house was beautiful and full of Mark's amazing art. The house was clean, there was enough room and the dog was very friendly. The area was quiet and close to the main square, where there were restaurants, bars, shopping, banks, museums and cultural happenings. This place is highly recommended.
The room is very nice! Clean and comfortable. The house is near the center of the town. It takes three or four mintues walk to the center of the town.
Mark! What an amazing host. I knew it was fate that brought me to meet him and his wonderful partner in crime Swan. They are amazing people and I'm truly stunned at how two older non-spanish speaking people can be so invested in the Ponce community. They are real pillars of the community and pillars on AirBNB. They were so flexible with everything and the home is BEAUTIFUL. Everything was right on point. I am excited to see them again in the future.
