Lovely location, beautiful art and unique environment. Mark was not present, though Mabel was super informative and friendly. The house could use a deep cleaning of the floors/cobwebs/dust and the mattress was a bit like sleeping on plywood. But that being said.... This is a great place to stay to see a lovely little town. Treat yourself to ice cream and join the locals on the square. Dinner on the rooftop at Vistas on the square was amazing, as were the pinchos sold from a cart nearby. We had a great visit.

Our stay in Ponce was excellent and that can be attributed to Mark's great home. The area has great and friendly locals who and we made quick friends at the bars near by, It's a great base to drive to near by south coast beaches 40 mins east of Ponce like La Jungla o Playa Santa. After eating out for every meal the previous days in PR it was very relaxing to just have access to a kitchen to cook food we purchased at the nearby grocery store. The back garden is amazing and relaxing. The mango tree always dropping ripe treats was a plus too. We plan to make a return someday to the area and stay here!

Wonderful garden with fountain in secluded backyard patio. Very unique art filled old mansion right downtown Old Ponce.

My husband and I, too, did not have the chance to meet Mark and Swann, but enjoyed rattling around their beautiful home just the two of us. The artwork was intriguing and the garden was inviting. It was hard to leave the house, actually. But this place is in the middle of Ponce and one must go out. Plaza las Delicias is minutes away, as are several of the city's fine museums. We particularly enjoyed eating at Lola's and visiting the museum of the city of Ponce. A great stay and we would love to do it again.

This was absolutely the most amazing Airbnb I've ever stayed at. The backyard garden was amazing. Hummingbirds and geckos kept me company while I drank my morning coffee. The entire place was a work of art. Absolutely gorgeous. Our room was so cool with an amazing window. The location was also perfect. Very close to the main square in Ponce and we ate at several phenomenal restaurants in easy walking distance. We missed meeting mark but his friend who showed us around was great.

My creative temperament appreciates the beautiful architecture of Ponce along with the nearby mountains where we maintain an organic farmed based on sustainability and permaculture ideals. I am a professional artist who also resides in Asheville area of North Carolina. My business consist of making chandeliers, cabinet kobs and pulls using carved and tumbled glass. I look forward to growing our own organic food and having it available to our guests.
