Ben was a great host. He made me feel very comfortable and safe in his apartment. The apartment was very clean and Ben was super nice. He saw my toothpaste was almost gone and put out a new tube! And I told him I liked yogurt and the next day there was yogurt in the fridge. Definitely went above and beyond what I would have expected!
Ben made us feel welcome with his warm personality. He’s really, really nice and friendly. I asked him for a hairdryer and he procured one. My partner and I had slightly different schedules and Ben provided an extra access key to get into the building. He had lots of towels for us. His home is well-curated, aesthetically-pleasing and very clean. The room and comfortable bed worked out well. There are lots of night lights in the front room and bathroom that helped us navigate Ben's condo at night.
Ben’s home is also quiet. Either the walls are insulated or the sound of the air conditioning in the background make it so one can’t hear other activity in the household. This is an urban environment so the blare of a freight train horn, police sirens and similar sounds of the city can be heard but are not, truth be told, disturbing.
The neighborhood was very convenient to MARTA (and the airport) and walking distance to the Georgia Dome and the nearby convention we were attending. We used Lyft quite a bit to get to further away places and found that to be convenient.
Despite Atlanta not being a great walking city we found a great coffee place: Condesa Coffee (website hidden) at 145 Auburn just a 10-minute walk away. We had great food at Alma Cocina and Aviva by Kameel. Kameel will transform the way you experience a restaurant. His passion exuded from his body as he passed around warm vegan bread and proclaimed his love for his customers as we stood in a line out the door of eager people waiting for his scrumptious food. We did not find a super close produce market but The Sweet Auburn Market (about a 15-minute walk) is definitely worth a look.
I spent five nights at Ben's apartment during a meeting. His place is only a few blocks from GSU in the heart of downtown Atlanta. Ben was a fantastic host and his apartment was clean and quiet. The private room was spacious, very comfortable, and even had an iron. I highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Atlanta.
Ben was very nice and made me feel safe and welcome. His apartment was so nicely decorated and clean. Loved the comfort and hospitality.
Ben is a friendly and accommodating host. He is knowledgeable about the area and the culture and events taking place in Atlanta. His apartment is very clean and welcoming. The location is great. I enjoyed my visit, 100%.
Ben was an incredibly welcoming and helpful host. I felt right at home and was very comfortable in the apartment. Ben also gave great directions and suggestions for activities in the area. Highly recommended!
Ben is the perfect host and his place the ideal one for a visit to the ATL. As a host he was so welcome and open to using his space and at not making you feel like a stranger. And the pictures are nothing compared to how beautiful the apartment is. Depending on where you have to go, it is also centrally located. The majority of my business was 4-7 blocks away in the Downtown area so it was perfect for me, but it is also pretty close to the highway should you need to go further (which I also had to do). I would definitely stay here again on my next visit! Thanks again Ben for your hospitality!!!
