Our home is etched into a mountain and we share it with birds, deer and a variety of natural foliage. The decks out front provide a spectacular view of mountainous, wooded surroundings and a quaint downtown area which is just a 10 minute walk down the hill. Whether you enjoy mountain biking, fine wines and great restaurants, or simply an opportunity to get back to nature, this is a good place to do it all.
Our home was built in 1920 and is filled with happy memories. There are flower gardens, decks overlooking the town, a small orchard with various seasonal fruits. It is a good and relaxing place to spend time during the day and rest your head at night.
Guests will have access to a small jacuzzi, wireless internet, a small shed to store bikes, several decks, a living room and kitchen. There is a microwave in one of the bedrooms..We have a Pack & Play, highchair and toys for a small child. Additionally, we have a foam mat for an older child (7 and under) to sleep beside the bed.
Interaction with Guests
Rob and I are a social couple who love traveling and meeting new people. We also enjoy cooking and look forward to providing breakfast each morning with fresh eggs from our chickens and hand picked fruit from our orchard in season.
We have two rooms available. Each has one twin bed, so we can accommodate two people at most. The rooms are small and quaint with many windows to appreciate this beautiful surrounding. It is a quiet and tranquil experience where most often the only noise is a gentle breeze or the sound of me cooking in the kitchen.

We live in a beautiful very safe neighborhood with wonderful neighbors and endless bike and hiking trials. Fairfax is famous in for all types of musical entertainment in the evenings. We are within an hour of beaches, the wine country and San Francisco We have maps and will hope to assist you with you're sightseeing plans.
We are a seven min. walk to the bus stop which also connects to the San Francisco Air-porter. We have two bikes to lend.
Other Things to Note
Picnic lunches are available by request for a reasonable fee. As well as soup and bread suppers.
Our guests are always considerate of other house occupants.
About the Host, Joanna And Rob
My husband Rob and my self enjoy opening our home to guests and have often been home stay parents to multi culture students attending Dominican University. Our hospitality has always received great reviews. I [Joanna] have worked at a local bed and breakfast and I delight in cooking. We love to travel and have been to Japan, England, France, Italy and Africa. Rob and I enjoy people and hope to make your stay restful and relaxing.
