Relax in the hot tub beneath the stars, enjoy movie nights with the outdoor projector, gather around the fire pit, or unwind on the screened porch surrounded by nature. Featuring a king bed, WiFi, gas fireplace, fully kitchen and easy access to Shenandoah National Park, wineries, hiking, and New Market, this peaceful retreat is perfect for any type of getaway.

Welcome to Walnut Springs – Your Private Shenandoah Mountain Escape
Hidden away on more than 11 private acres at the base of the beautiful Massanutten Mountain Range, Walnut Springs is the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and experience everything that makes the Shenandoah Valley unforgettable.
Originally built in 1928, this charming cottage has been thoughtfully updated while preserving its historic character. Original hand-hewn beams, stone porch steps, and vintage rolled-glass windows blend beautifully with modern comforts to create a warm, inviting retreat that feels both timeless and relaxing.
Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a peaceful weekend in nature, or a home base to explore the Shenandoah Valley, Walnut Springs offers the privacy you crave without sacrificing convenience. Although you'll feel miles away from everything, you're only minutes from downtown New Market, Interstate 81, wineries, hiking trails, and countless local attractions.

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $2500 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account - it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.
