Original 18th C chalet, called "Rascard" locally, an authentic antique farm house, completely modernised and refurbished, preserving much of the original wooden structure and antique beams. Situated in small village Tignet, 1650m, part of the Gran Paradiso National Park, built on a spur with a wonderful view overlooking the Valsavarenche valley, the Savara river and mountain peaks and a waterfall on the left. The house balcony faces north with sun all day. Car parking space 50m from the chalet.

The house was above our expectations. Position was excellent for hiking. Beds nice, kitchen more than ok. Very cosy and tasteful interior. The only things we missed was an umbrella and some additional relaxing chairs for sitting outdoor. We had a wonderful time!
