2 bdrm ground floor home for your exclusive use. Bus nearby. 30 mins drive to city; 15 minutes to Glenelg Beach;5 mins to Brighton; 10 mins Aquatic Centre; 15 mins McLaren Vale Wine region, 1.15mins to KI Island Ferry.

Self contained 2 bedroom ground floor home (no steps), sleeps 5 (6 with a fold out single bed with proper mattress). Private front and rear gardens and sea views from the front of the home
This is a large 2 bedroom home with 2 living areas, 3 TVS and private front and back garden. You have the whole home to yourself.
Large main bedroom with Queen size bed, LCD TV and a 2 way ensuite bathroom with separate shower and full bath tub.
The second bedroom can sleep up to 3 and consists of a Double bed and single bed.
There is also a fold out single bed with proper full size mattress available which sleeps one person and which we can set up in one of the living areas - if there are 6 people.
Large lounge area with a 42" Plasma TV/DVD, separate dining/2nd family area (& 3rd LCD TV) and full kitchen facilities, including a Nespresso Coffee machine (with starter pack of coffee pods) oven, grill/cook top and a microwave.
There is a bus stop near the front of the home which will take you to Adelaide City, Brighton Beach, Train Station and shopping centres, including Westfield Marion and Hallett Cove Shopping centre. The same bus also stops at the Flinders Medical Centre or Flinders University.
The home is only 15 minute drive to our beautiful McLaren Vale wine region, around 1 hr & 15 minutes to Kangaroo Island Sealink Ferry at Cape Jarvis and 45 minutes drive to Victor Harbor.
If you love the beach then the home is a 5 minute drive to beautiful Seacliff & Brighton Beach with a great selection of restaurants and cafes. Glenelg Beach is approximately a 15 minute drive away.
Bedding, bath towels and basic supplies are provided. We usually sneak in a few luxuries like a pack of Nespresso Pods, milk, raisin bread or cereal and Tim Tams.
The property is not serviced daily, however there are laundry facilities (top loader washer) in the house.
A porta-cot and high chair is available upon request - cot linen is not supplied.
There is off street parking for a small car under the roller door carport. A medium sized car will also fit with careful maneuvering or you can park in one of the other off street car parks.
WiFi Internet is provided at no charge.
Check in: around 4.00pm but can be earlier if the home is ready earlier (luggage drop and key collection can be from noon by prior arrangement) - Late night arrivals can also be accommodated.

The area of Hallett Cove itself has geological significance as it is one of Australia's most outstanding geological and archaeological sites. The Hallett Cove Conservation Park is nearby, where more than 1,700 Aboriginal artefacts have been found. There is a self directed/signed walking trail which describes the park's cultural and geological heritage, including evidence of an Australian ice age some 280 million years ago. The outstanding glacial pavements along the northern cliff tops are recognised as the best record of Permian glaciation in Australia and have international significance. There is a fabulous walking trail which extends from nearby Marino to Port Stanvac with seats along the way and fantastic view of this beautiful area.
Guests have exclusive use of the home and front and back garden. There is also a roller door carport for a small to medium car.
Interaction with Guests
I am available if needed usually by text message or via email. I have a "day" job so it may take an hour to reply.
Look after the home. Be security conscious - make sure you lock doors at all times and ensure windows are closed when you are away from the home.
Please leave the home in a similar condition to what you found it. If you do not wish to leave the home in a similar condition please do not book. The cleaning fee we charge is for a 3 hr standard clean.
Crockery and utensils to be left clean and put away.
Bins to be put out on the kerb on the regular collection day (Thursday night for a Friday morning pick up) and brought back in.
Long term stays have the option of a mid stay clean of wet areas (at extra cost), otherwise please clean the bathroom regularly to avoid build up of soap scum.
If you use the washing machine please make sure you shake out any sand from your clothes before placing in the washing machine.
Report any damage.
No smoking indoors.
No noise or parties in consideration of neighbours nearby.
