Beautiful, renovated Loft of 1100 sq ft in an antique, classic, French-style building located in the heart of Palermo Soho. This is considered HUGE by Argentine standards as most units range around 250- 600 square feet. This is our part-time home, so we have tried to make it as comfortable for our guests too. We have brought at much as possible from the US including linens, dishes, knives, silverware - anything we can!

Our Huge loft features 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, each with tubs, and walk in closets. There is also a private OFFICE with 12 Mg Wifi. With a floor-to-ceiling window in the living room, the condo is filled with light overlooking an interior courtyard and with a private terrace - perfect for morning coffee. Our home has two TVs, 2 DVDs, surround sound audio system, MP3 hook ups, movie collection, hair dryer, curling iron, coffee maker, imported top-quality linens...all the amenities you need. Most of our furniture is custom made and all of our artwork is custom painted or photographed. A complimentary cell phone is available for your use.

Palermo Soho is the most hip, yet laid back area of the city. Our street, Malabia is considered one of the best in this area. When you walk out the door, you have every established and up and coming designer shop in the city. The shops are incredible in design and the buildings range from very contemporary to old world style. There are cobblestone streets everywhere.

In Palermo, you can find over 700 restaurants and cafes. There is something to do at EVERY hour of the day here. On the weekends, there are artisans fairs just 2 blocks away. The Botanical Garden and Zoo are just 3 blocks away. The huge park, 28 de Febrero, with Planetarium, rose garden, paddle boats, bike and roller blade rentals, and Japanese Garden, are within walking distance. There is also a brand new large supermarket and a Starbucks located 3 blocks from the condo.

Around the corner is a national grocery store and a gym. There are also health food stores, farm fresh produce and vegetable shops,home made gelato shops, and local parillas surrounding the home.

If you wish to travel around the city, the Subway is four blocks and costs about .30 cents are trip. Bus stops are 2 blocks away. Taxis are abundant. There are several parking garages and free on street parking in front of the building.

The unit is located in the back of the building, so even though you are in the middle of the most vibrant areas of the city, the condo is quiet and away from any street noise.

Our loft is in an original, antique, French building. It is located on the second floor and there is no elevator in the building. Also, we provide soap and paper upon arrival. It is the tenants responsibility for the remainder of the rental period. Maid service is provided once every 7 days. Additional maid service is available up request for a fee.

Rate is based on 2 guests. additional adult guests have a surcharge of $10.00 per day. Maximum occupancy is 4 adults.

I highly recommend staying at Jamais' place. The location is right in the heart of Palermo Soho, making it very convenient to walk to the great restaurants and bars in town. The apartment itself is very modern and well kept. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Nice place at a great location, host very responsive. One bedroom is spacious, bright with en-suite bathroom and a large double bed, the other bedroom is smaller, without en-suite bathroom (there is a one at the same level though) and narrower double bed. Host facilitated early check-in and late check-out.

We were charmed by everything about our stay at Jamais' condo this week. Check-in and check-out were easy and simple, the apartment looks exactly how the pictures represent and the hosts were excellent in communicating with us before and during our stay. The apartment is really big and fully equipped with everything you could want. The water pressure in the showers wasn't the best but given that it is an older building, it was completely acceptable. We just loved staying here and would definitely return in the future. The only warning I might add would be to older travellers with lots of luggage, the apartment is a bit of a climb and there is only stair access. It wasn't a problem for us though. This is a beautiful condo which was restored and furnished beautifully and with great functionality. The beds were extremely comfortable! We truly enjoyed the living space to relax, sleep and prepare breakfast. The apartment is located two floors above ground (with no elevator) and the building could use a facelift but does have a lot of character and charm. The location is extremely good with access to restaurants and shopping at walking distance and easy access to subway etc. Thew wifi worked well and was fast. The agent we met for check in was prompt and a pleasure to work with. However during our stay there were a few misunderstandings due to less than perfect communication with the owner which could and should have been avoided. Additionally the owner requested we sign an additional "lease" or agreement which is something I have never had to do with AirBNB which I found unnecessary and somewhat unwelcoming.

I sorry you felt that there was a lack of communication. In our view we went beyond the call of duty. You wanted the reservation modified after booking. This was something you had to do with Airbnb yet you asked us and we handled it on your behalf. When a modification is sent to Airbnb, the response will take a few days since it has to be approved by them. We have to wait for Airbnb approval before we can confirm the changes to you. We require a lease (as stated on Airbnb) so everything is clear and there is no miscommunication on either end and consideration by both parties. We previously agreed that the checkout had to be at 11AM and also stated on the lease but when you arrived you INSISTED on a 6PM checkout - which was impossible. We don't think this would have been very considerate to the arriving guests coming in that same day.
