This super-hidden, crazy private cottage is an amazing little thing. Your own tiny house!
Hard wood everything, loft bedroom that walks out onto a second-story porch, and easy access to the hippest stuff in Austin!
It's a for-real tiny house, eclectic all-wood floors and walls. The downstairs is a living room, kitchen, and bathroom, and the ladder leads to an attic bedroom with access to the upstairs porch! Please keep in mind that this is a house actually made out of wood, and despite regular and professional cleaning it is a little dusty. Please do not confuse this for dirty!
The entire inside of the tucked-away property is a secluded garden area surrounded by high fencing. Hang out nude!
Wifi, street parking, private kitchen & bathroom

The Holly Street area is, scientifically, the best neighborhood in Austin. Cool peeps, fun stuff happening, other fun stuff in easy casual distance.
Rainey Street, Dirty 6th, and Hipster East 6th bar scenes are all a short walk (or shorter bike ride!) away.
The bus stop is totally nearby. That said, we may be able to round up a couple bikes- everything is very close and it's a very safe neighborhood.
Be clean & courteous to the space! The whole thing was very lovingly built by hand by the original owner, and we are very careful to maintain it's charm.
Please sign our guest book when you leave!
No parties, no extra guests, no animals.
Please do not smoke cigarettes in the house or on the porch. If you do smoke, please throw your butts away rather than leave them in the yard or on the street.
And of course, be respectful & courteous of the neighbors- they have young kids & go to bed early :)
First of all (wow, starting a review with "first of all"! Original!)
The house is beautiful and amazing. All I could think was, "I could live here. This could be my house."
The furniture is as comfortable as it is cool and I love all the little details around the house (make sure you say hi to Ziggy Starfox). The location is great and my host was very helpful and hospitable.
This place was so great, and exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for. Private, quaint, and full of personality. We loved being able to walk to several great bars/restaurants, and also hanging out on the little balcony on the second floor. Jason was super informative and quick to respond to texts. Would definitely recommend staying in this super charming place.
This airbnb home was perfect for us. It is located in a cute neighborhood and we barely used any gas to get to all I our favorite places because they were so close. The house has a stove and fridge, and an easy to use stovetop moka express. We didn't feel we were lacking anything siring our stay. The bathroom is spacious and has a shower with hot water. The ladder to get up to The loft bed has wide rungs which make it comfortable to walk up and down. My husband is 6 foot 2 inches and had to climb up and down differently from me, but he made it work and we both slept comfortably on the bed. There is a comfortable rug leading to the bed which is great because you do need I crawl over to the bed, but once again, the host did a great job of thinking about making this cute cottage as easy to access as possible. All window have screens which I loved because I enjoyed opening the windows at night to listen to all of the beautiful birds in austin. We truly enjoyed our stay and although we didn't meet our hosts, we could tell they were thinking of us with all of the little toiletries and stocked bathroom they left for us to use. If you're going to Austin and are comfortable climbing up and down a ladder you MUST stay here!!
Amazing experience. Welcoming and generous hosts. My boyfriend and I Stayed here and felt like we had our own sophisticated clubhouse, the kind you dream about when your 10. We both felt the floor bed in the loft was really comfortable and slept in for hours. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Funky little cabin, definitely a unique, Austin experience. The location was great, walking distance to east side dive bars and some great local restaurants. Minimalist is a good word as there was only one towel provided and no amenities like a hairdryer, clothes iron or clothes hangers. The bed is in the loft so some flexibility is required to get in and out of the bed. The top floor porch is like a tree house, nice to sit and listen to the birds. Floor needed a vacuum cleaning.
The space was exactly as advertised. My friend and I had a lovely stay in Austin and would recommend this place to anyone looking for fun and unique accommodations while visiting the city.
