Where you’ll be

Tempe, Arizona, United States

This is a quiet, well-kept, older North Tempe family-oriented neighborhood, established in 1950 with wide streets and a K-8th grade school nearby. We're nestled minutes from Papago Park-you can walk there and to the Phoenix Zoo and the Botanical Gardens. There are many bike rental stations in the area and you can easily go 1-5 hours on bike paths from here.

Hey, I'm Beth! I'm a small business owner/Grandma who loves to meet new people. Since February of 2017, I've been an AirBNB Host and I've recently hosted dozens of travelers from all over the world in my home. I also babysit 8 grandkids who are all 9 and under, teach English to Refugees and love exploring all the bike paths all over the Greater Phoenix Area. Before booking with me, make sure to read the reviews of my previous Guests and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. My favorite travel destination is my sister's cabin on Flathead Lake where we do paddle boarding, fishing, swimming, catamaran-sailing, and sailing with their old Olympic sailboat--thrilling because it takes so much skill. My lovely, fully remodeled home in South Scottsdale/North Tempe, has a lush, quiet back yard, citrus trees, vegetable gardens and is close to mountain-bike and sidewalk and canal paths, within a short walk or bike ride to some of Phoenix's best spots-Papago Park, the Botanical Gardens the Phoenix Zoo, Firefighting Museum, 3-4 ball parks, Rolling Hills golf course, Tempe Town Lake, ASU, Mill Avenue, Tempe Marketplace, Old Town Scottsdale and much, much more. Part of every booking goes to a school in South Sudan where 200 kids get an education, meals, and school supplies.
