Amazing fishing lodge located on Kenai River, Cusack's On The Kenai, the old Sprucewood Lodge. Large beautiful log cabin with platform docks. Made from huge round locally grown Sprucewood trees. One of the most beautiful lodges in the Kenai River. Marble bathrooms. Professional vacuum sealer and walk-in freezer. New marble kitchen. Awesome Fire-pit with unlimited supply of firewood. New large deck with river front views.

The space
Location couldn't be better. We are centrally located, offering the best of Alaska to our guests and the best accommodations right on the river. We are just outside of Soldotna. You take one left off to the Sterling Highway and that's it! We are just off that one road on the river-4 minutes down!

Guest access
For this rental, you have full access to the river docks, and the one acre lot and full access to the lodge and all of its common areas.

Other things to note
World-class fishing, sightseeing, bear viewing and more await you. We are happy to incorporate fishing trips or other Alaskan adventures for you!

I spend too much time: In the tub
I'm a mom to 3, a sister to 6, an aunt to 4 nieces & 2 nephews, and a cousin to about 75? Born and raised in Alaska, where my family still lives. I live there in summers and travel back and forth to AZ during the winters. I'm obsessed with Alaska! I love showing people the majestic state where I was so fortunate to grow up. "You can take the girl out of Alaska but you can't take the Alaska out of the girl!" I’m looking forward to being full time again in Alaska soon. My sisters and I run our bed & breakfasts in Alaska, Cusack’s On The Kenai. My late husband, Anthony K Hedley, M.D., South African born, was a die hard fly fisherman, and an orthopedic surgeon in Phoenix who designed joint replacements for Stryker.
