About This Listing
Simple, cosy apartment in an amazing location near the Eiffel tower and museums, beside restaurants and shops.
Comfortable beds, bed linen and towels are provided, as well as wardrobe space.
The kitchen has a microwave, kettle, fridge, induction hob and oven, cutlery, dishes, glasses, etc. I don't prepare breakfast but please help yourself if I have cereals, milk, juice, tea, coffee, etc.
The bathroom has both shower and bath - the (small!) toilet is in a separate room for convenience.
Fast wifi, cable TV (French and international, English language news channels etc.), CD/DVD player, hairdryer, landline telephone.
I don't have a washing machine or dishwasher but there is a launderette and dry cleaners around the corner.
I rent one of the bedrooms (double bed or two single beds as you prefer) and sleep in the other. Living room, kitchen etc. are shared, you can make yourself at home.
Interaction with Guests
I tend to stay in my room if I'm there in the evening but I'm happy to answer any questions.
The apartment is a short walk to the Eiffel tower and Champ de Mars, rue Cler and Invalides. A slightly longer walk (still only 15-20 minutes!) to the Champs Elysees, Grand Palais and other sights.
There are great restaurants nearby (you can click on my Airbnb Guidebook for examples of these and other things to see), and all the other essentials - bakery at the end of the street (great for breakfast), supermarket, cafés, brasseries, cheese shop, butchers, fruit and veg...
The nearest stations are Ecole Militaire (metro line 8, handy for the airport bus to CDG) which is 5 minutes walk away and the RER C station Alma (which goes to Versailles for example). Paris also has bike and electric car rental schemes and city buses.
Other Things to Note
- The apartment is on the 2nd floor, with a small lift.
- The toilet is also small.
- No smoking or pets.
- Make yourself at home and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions - either in advance of or during your stay.
- I do all the cleaning and laundry afterwards, so you don't need to do anything.
Although Lorcan was unavailable to greet us he arranged a friend to do so. We were made to feel at home straight away. The apartment was well situated to the Eiffel tower, restaurants, supermarkets and was as Lorcan described. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed the bath after many full days walking. I would certainly recommend.
Lorcan foi muito educado ao nos receber em sua casa, o que nos deixou bem à vontade. A localização do apartamento é privilegiada e a vizinhança é bem tranquila. Essa foi a minha primeira vez que aluguei um quarto apenas em um apartamento.
Lorcan is super nice and helpful. His apartment located at a very good spot in Paris. One can walk to the Eiffel Tower, École Militaire, Museé du quai Barnly, and Pont d'léna. The restaurants on Saint Dominique are pretty good as well and we didn't have to look too far to find good French food.
You get your own private room and privacy and we had a nice time while we were in Paris.
Lot an was cordial and recommended fine restaurants in the neighborhood. Great location.
Great neighbourhood steps from cafes, patisseries, excellent restaurants, metro, & bus. Building and apartment secure and Lorcan was available to provide information as needed. Private room had comfortable Double bed. Lorcan made the whole experience very easy.
