Neighbors on both sides and a girls summer camp ( 8 weeks during the peak of summer) down the road. In peak summer, there can be noise from camp and from boaters on the lake, but there are still tranquil early mornings and evenings even then. We are bordered by woods on either side and the driveway is bordered by woods but we do have neighboring houses. Expect to enjoy eagle sightings, loon calls and local deer.

I am an artist/ hand papermaker and my husband, Greg, is a carpenter. I also teach art classes for students of all ages in the community and at my studio on the premises. We are organic gardeners and grow our own food on our wooded property. I also am growing plants for natural dyeing. We support local farmers (I volunteer at a local CSA) and eating healthy food and having a lifestyle that is in harmony with nature is important to us. We love to garden, bicycle, kayak and swim on our lake, and enjoy hosting friends and family. We are quiet, go to bed reasonably early, and appreciate visitors who respect our privacy. We will give you your space and respect your privacy and will do our best to help you enjoy your stay with us.
