Nice flat in a lovely location - we are locals and stayed while our hose was refurbished. Martin is friendly, flexible and generally pleasant to deal with. I'd recommend a stay at his place.
This is a really nice flat in a great location right by the park - everything was exactly as described and Martin was super helpful in answering any questions I had that weren't covered in his thorough notes. We got a bit lost on the way to the flat but Nadia was incredibly patient waiting for us and redirecting us when we got lost. The flat had everything we needed and was really cosy for our weekend stay. We loved going to Blackheath village and to all the museums in Greenwich. This was my very first Air B&B trip and I am now a convert.
Very nice apartment - comfortable and close to lovely park. Martin made the check in process easy and relaxed. Good wifi, cable TV and selection of DVDs. I had a car and free parking was easy - public transport facilities speared close by. High end (waitrose) supermarket not far away. All in all it was just what I needed.
We spent 3 days in London with our 2 daughters (6 and 9). We had long days walking to enjoy this beautiful city, and we really appreciated to relax in Martin's flat at the end of the day. Martin gave us all the information we needed, and his father came rather late (9:30pm) to give us the keys. Martin also called me the day after our arrival to check everything was OK. In Martin's flat you have everything you need to feel like at home ! Even if Greenwich may be a little far away from central London, the flat is very well situated near Greenwich park, and is very calm. We enjoyed this stay in London !
Martin's place is really nice and in a great location. Greenwich is a very quaint London suburb and close to many great tourist attractions. We really enjoyed our stay and Martin couldn't have been more helpful. I'd thoroughly recommend Martin's place.
thanks to Martin for letting us stay in his flat, its my first time using airbnb, it is easy to use and communication with Martin is easy and prompt. We stayed in the flat for 6 days. After a busy day visiting central of London, it is relaxing and peaceful to rest in the apartment. Everything i need can be found in the flat, of course i bring along my soap, shampoo and necessities, but even if you forgot, you can still find the basic stuffs that i believe is left behind by previous guests and or prepare by martin. The kitchen is just great, you don't have to worry about ingredients. Shower is good with hot water and reasonable water pressure. The beds are comfortable, the duvet I used in one of the rooms is just warm and light weight, the one in the other room is not as nice as that one but it is also clean and warm. The apartment is closed to Maze Hill Station with around 10 mins walk, the first 5 mins walk has to walk up to the hill which can be a challenge after a long day tour. I learnt that in the review of the other guests before i booked it, so I do expect that and is not a concern to me. We also took a river boat trip from greenwich to Westminster, not too far to walk to the pier. As Martin's flat is on the top floor, the neighbour downstairs raised concern while my 2 kids playing in the evening in the flat, I can understand. They are nice and polite neighbour. We just need a bit (website hidden). do spare at least one day tour around Greenwich, there's so much to see, don't forget to visit the Greenwich Market nearby, we went there on Sunday, it is like a flea market and with some delicious local snack. Overall, we are happy and have a very good holiday in London. Thanks Martin!
Thanks to Martin, for a great stay! We believe in dealing with good people and would readily do so again with him - apart from being knowledgeable and well-travelled himself, he's also a smart, funny, caring and genuinely nice person. What a great all-round experience our stay at his place was, beginning with our cheery online conversation with this very responsive host, who made a point to check in by text message with us right after our very well-assisted physical check-in. Thanks also to the very capable Nadia for the help before and during our comfortable stay at one of the best locations a visitor to London could wish for! I'm looking forward to buying him a drink or two at one of the nearby, must-visit Meantime brewery establishments on our next visit! Hoping you enjoy your stay at Martin's as much as we did!
We just spent a great week in Greenwich/London! The walk through the park into town was a lovely morning ritual and we took advantage of just about all the methods of transportation into Central London (bus, DLR, and river boat). Enjoyed some eats and shopping at the Greenwich Market. We had another couple join us later in the week - we all had plenty of room to relax and slept well on the comfy beds. Martin was excellent with communication before and during our stay. Don't think you'll be disappointed with your stay!
This flat was perfect for my recent 10-day trip to Greenwich. It is comfortable, fully fitted-out and a great location near Greenwich Park. I would definitely recommend this spot.
