The Space

Nicely furnished and completely stocked apartment directly overlooking the beach.
This is my home!

Absolutely No Smoking allowed inside! No pets! This is the place if your looking for a home away from home. This is not your typical Canary Island rental.

This apartment comes with EVERYTHING you need. If I don´t have it, chances are you will not need it!
The bedroom is equipped with a queen size 60cm high platform bed, which makes it not only easy but comfortable to get in & out and an orthopedic mattress (only 1'80 long).
The bathroom (renovated summer'14) now with easy access shower, new full size washing machine (7kg), hair dryer, floor scale, etc....
The kitchen is completely equipped with just about everything a kitchen should have and partially stocked. I like to cook so you'll find lots of kitchen knives, numerous frying pans and pots as well as lots of Tupperware and jars. Also a coffee maker, espresso pot, toaster, juicer, microwave and lots more.

A new 42" plasma TV with local as well as satellite channels, stereo w/CD, a bar and a small wine selection to chose from. A new off-white sofa set; a 3 & 2-seater. Since one of the main features is the view, the living room has no curtains. There are only 2 people living in the building in-front & facing you is their small bedroom window or the entrance door. You almost never see anyone except in the morning while having breakfast on the balcony as they leave for work.
On the balcony 6 sq m you have a patio set w/ umbrella, a clothes drying rack a cleaning supplies closet and other small storage.
You have the beach in the back and the pool in-front; also a tennis court at no charge.

Most our return guests love it here as you are away from the hustle & bustle of the usual tourist areas, but still close enough to town. We are one of the few apartment developments with direct beach access.

Plenty of street parking and easy access. Bus and taxi transport within 500m and the nearest shopping center is only a 5 minute ride away.
There are two mini-markets within 3 minute walking distance as well as 2 or 3 restaurants.

Guest Access

you have the entire apartment for yourself, free use of the tennis court and direct access to the beach

Interaction with Guests

almost none as I will not be here over the next 6 months. You have a contact person in case of emergency and I am reachable via WhatsApp.

The Neighborhood

Quiet village of Playa del Aguila (Eagle Beach) is a mix between a small local village & quiet tourist area. Located just north of San Agustin away from the noise and commotion but still very close to everything. A few restaurants and 2 mini-markets within walking distance.

Getting Around

Great 24 hour public transport within 500 meters; until 2am they run every 20 minutes. Taxis are very economical; 5 € into town, 7-8 € after 10 PM. Airport transfers are about €27 euro.

Other Things to Note

The apartment´s electric supply is rated for 2.4 kwh as are most apartments here. This is more than sufficient as long as you do not connect the cook-top, boiler, washer & microwave all at once.
The boiler is only 30 liters; if you need 100, then you will have a problem.
Alone in 2014, electricity rates have gone up 70%.

If anything should be missing, broken or not functioning, please inform us immediately on arrival; not when checking out, so that we can fix or replace it immediately.

House Rules

We have few house rules but rely more on common sense. We have a rules and guide book on site for more details.

Smoking in the apartment & disconnecting smoke alarm is PROHIBITED! Do not leave the doors open when you leave (check out). This automatically forfeits your security deposit.

Due to extreme misuse in the past, towels that remain stained after laundering will be charged to the guest - no exceptions. Towels and bed linens are not intended for removing your makeup.

No overnight guests! No pets!
