One room ( 25 qm ) with a balcony,an American kitchen in a niche before you enter the main room with a dish washer, oven and fridge.Everything has been remodelled in January 2015. Apartment was small, but clean and well located, particularly if you need to park your car. There is underground car park assigned to the unit, which makes the apartment very convenient for those who wish to drive in Paris. Gisela was a gracious host, and was quick with advice and access to the apartment. The neighborhood where the apartment was situated was a unique, ethnically diverse area, which provided an opportunity to see how real Parisiens live. We would definitely rent again with Gisela if given the opportunity.

Incredible apartment and incredible host! Gisela answered many questions by email before arriving and even mailed us a couple of bus tickets with detailed instructions that made getting there easier. She was easy to reach by phone after we arrived for questions and made our stay wonderful. The view from the balcony is great and restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. Bus or taxi transportation makes getting around easy if you get tired of walking. Staying here made Paris even more romantic.

Gisela made my daughter and I feel very welcome in her comfy apartment. The security and parking garage were a huge plus. In addition, the view was incredible and the location quite convenient. Gisela is a very kind woman and we greatly enjoyed our stay in her apartment and in Paris!

Beautiful place, friendly neighbourhood with a nice market. I felt right at home. Staggering view: fall in love with Paris from the comfort of your bed. Thanks Gisela!

Gisela was a nice host. She responded very quick and was very welcoming. Her appartment was small but big enough, it has everything you need for a short stay and the view was very nice. The balcony is a big plus. The bed was comfy. The appartement has security so that was nice. The neigborhood was safe and ok, but I think I would choose another area a next time.

Gisela is a lovely host: she received us warmly and had many tips for her arrondisement on offer! The flat was great to stay, perfect for us, and the view from the balcony incredible - I guess pretty much unique for a touristic accomodation in Paris!

We had a wonderful time in this very cosy studio. Very easy access by train and car. The view was fantastic.. We spend a lot of nights sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. The metro station is just 5 minutes walking away, and there are a lot of stores nearby. The host Gisela made us feel very welcome, and took all the time to tell us everything about the city and how to get there. In one word, fantastic! When we are going to visit Paris again, we will absolutely contact Gisela again.

The photo shows me on my 60th birthday with my grandson Elia.
I have lived in France for the last 9 years. Before I lived in the US for 3 years and actually I come from Frankfurt, Germany. I have travelled all over the world. Some countries are still left to discover and I hope I can make it . The last 7 years I travelled to India, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, Kambodia, Malaysia and Laos and Indonesia.
Paris is quite new for me, just moved there 5 years ago. Before I lived in rural Bretagne. I moved to Paris , because I did not want to live alone any more in a quiet place. Paris is the contrast !! Life is so full of impressions every day. I also have my family members in Paris which is my son , my daughter in law and my grandchildren .. I do everything to help the parents to enjoy life without their children which is necessary. I am a good grandma. At the same time I enjoy Paris to the fullest.
As I am retired I feel free to do whatever I want. I have no work obligations any more. But I still work a little bit as a Thai massage masseuse. I love massaging people.
When you come to my place you can use everything which is there. I love cooking so I have a lot of spices
I travel so often between Bretagne and Paris, go to Germany for a short trip, see friends whereever they are. I am retired and spend a lot of time travelling. I have friends all over the world and actually I do not need airbnb to find a place to stay. I love this system, because sometimes you decide to go somewhere because there are people to offer their place.
