An excellent experience. Omri walked us through the process, keeping in touch before our arrival. Once we texted that we had arrived, he was there within two minutes. We had no contact with him during our stay, because we had no reason to contact him. The place was clean and bright, but the blinds darkened the room well for sleeping. The bed was good. It was great to have a balcony. The street was noisy (it is midtown Manhattan, 1/2 block from Madison Square Garden), but the sirens seemed to stop by 11 PM, so sleep was fine. Location was fabulous for transit. The building and neighbours were very quiet. The only problem? no coffee machine. If that's the worst you have to say about a place, that's a pretty good sign.
Centrally located, doorman, clean and exactly as seen in the pix online. Half a block from Penn Station, making transportation easy. Omri was excellent at communicating and making sure I had everything I needed.
Omri was a gracious and thoughtful host. His place was perfect for our stay. The picture is exactly how it was....if not better. It is hard to capture how great having all that light coming in with the great deck. It was comfortable and we felt very at home. The space was peaceful but yet we could look out over the some action of the city. A great combination. It was centrally located, we walked everywhere. My husband is a hockey fame so having Madison Square Gardens a half a block away was thrilling while the playoff games were on. We couldn't have planned that better if we tried. The pizza from across the street was great too!
We would love to come back and Omri's place would definately be were I'd call first. I would highly recommend Omri and his place. I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet him. He seemed like a guy I would like to know.
Thanks Omri, wish you all the best!
Great location and very clean apartment. I definitely recommend Omri's home.
Nuestra estancia en el apartamento de Omri fue genial. Muy bien ubicado, cerca del centro, cerca del metro, limpio, muy acogedor y con ese maravilloso balcon con vistas a la ciudad. Sin duda volvería a alojarme alli.
In Sep/Oct 2013, I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Omri's apartment. It was the first time that I was using Airbnb, and was VERY apprehensive about travelling to The Big Apple. However, from the very beginning Omri was prompt in his replies and reassuring that my stay would be great, giving me helpful advice for getting to and from the airport. I arrived quite late in the evening and Omri was lovely in having some orange juice ready for my first morning. I was delighted to find the apartment as it is in the pictures- clean and comfortable and also the wifi worked great making it very easy to Skype family & friends. And the afternoon sun shinning through the window is glorious! I must also make mention that Omri's doormen- especially Olayemi (night doormen) were extremely helpful- being on my own, this was very reassuring especially when arriving late at night.
The apartment is in a superb location- (yes, definitely have the pizza from across the street (I still crave it a year later), also the deli a couple of doors down is great for breakfast and "Brother Jimmy's" is fantastic for Southern food and Cosmopolitans!). The apartment is not far from the subway and it's an easy walk to Empire State, Broadway, Times Square & Chelsea Timeline! Overall, I could not recommend Omri's apartment enough! Thanks, Omri for being a great host and helping to make my stay in NYC a dream come true! :)
Omri's place was clean and spacious - just as expected from the photos! Omri was a great host and even provided suggestions for places to visit and eat for our first visit to NY. I'd definitely recommend staying at Omri's place - great location and extremely convenient!
