We really enjoyed the flat in Islington. Great access to restaurants and the tube, a beautiful park for morning runs, and a very nice flat with good amenities. We enjoyed the kitchen for cooking a few breakfasts, and it was nice to have an in-suite washing machine for keeping our clothes clean. Paul is a great host and we'd recommend him to any other renters.
Booked the flat for one full month for temporary stay during our relocation to London. On the next day however (even after pre-approval) we were told there had been a double-booking and the first 3 nights (weekend) we would have to use another apartment on Upper street. Although travelling heavy (relocating to London) we accepted since apartment was only a couple of blocks away.
However again a few days before arriving we were told that a third apartment some 1.5miles away had been arranged for the first 3 nights and that the first alternative was no longer available. Given the limited time we were left with, we went with this option.
Even after having our first 3 nights location changed twice and although we had repeatedly mentioned that moving around would be quite difficult for us (since traveling heavy), we were left with all our luggage waiting outside the second apartment, that we would be staying for the rest of the month, for around 1 hour until somebody came and opened up (and despite having confirmed twice on the previous day the relocation time/procedure through emails). Still at that time the apartment hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests so we had to further wait for a few more hours for cleaning to complete.
Overall the apartment is modern, well maintained and clean. However it is really noisy, throughout the week and especially on the Weekends. The living area is facing Upper street (with windows not well maintained) and the bedroom at the rear has an exhaust fan-type noise all night. For this reason the apartment is equipped by the owner with ear plugs, that we unfortunately had to use every night. Moreover the building's lower door directly on Upper street has no lock and the apartment's main door a very simple/light one, feeling a bit unsafe.
Overall we found the service quite unreliable and unprofessional and wouldn't consider using the same apartment / services again. As such we cannot recommend them also to the wider AirBnB community.
I really knew from the beginning you'd be a serial complainer and would be writing this sort of trivial comments.
When you travel expect to be met by humans who are on time most of the time, but not like machines. My team is wonderful and do a very good job. It seems one of the girlst was out buying supplies for your arrival.
You knew when you change apartments are mid day that the apartment is NOT ready. Standard check-in is from 3pm and we accommodate early arrivals, but i warned we need 5 hours to clean and prepare the apartment for your comfort.
COME ON, there is a lock on the street door and a CHUB lock, i don't know why you'd write something like this. I give it to lack of command of the English language, but it's not cool to write that the street door has no lock, when there is one. The apartment door has 2 locks, and you know well, this is not cool to be writing these things. I don't understand the reason for this frustration but wish you well. I won't be able to do business with you again.
You stayed in my property for a fine month and i never heard any complaints, it seems you're stressed with moving to a busy city and are letting it all out at the end. I wish you well, but you won't be welcome here anymore. I have written a review back accordingly. You ought to be more reasonable with your host and demand things during your month stay.
This flat was amazing, top class living in central London close to hundreds of restaurants! The staff was friendly and it was no problem to check in a bit later due to changed flight times.

Paul is a great host! He is reliable and very accommodating. We were met by 2 very polite welcomers who showed us around and answered our questions. Majority of what everyone is mostly concerned about when booking, is covered with this clean, well furnished and conveniently located flat. I would definitely recommend Paul's flat to all my friends and family members.
The apartment was great -- clean, spacious, bright, well-furnished, with a good wi-fi connection. It is well-located on Upper Street in an area full of restaurants, bars and shops and is only a short walk to the nearest train station. Paul and his team were kind, professional and helpful (including sending over an email with restaurant recommendations after we asked for tips) and made check-in and check-out easy. The only negative was that the nightclub downstairs had super loud music going until sorta late on Saturday but that was the only night that it happened (and the only night we had any kind of problem with noise out of the several nights we stayed there). All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would rent through Paul and team again!

Very spacious and clean apartment...tons of room and lots of light. The neighborhood is full of great restaurants, shops and super convenient to transport.
Paul was a very thoughtful and accommodating host. We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and really liked how central it was to the tube, grocery/convenient stores, restaurants and nightlife. The neighborhood is a happening place to be - perfect for just about every age group. We are especially grateful for all he did to make our stay comfortable - they place was clean, the linens were fresh and the kitchen space was perfect. Each one of the people in my group fully intend to keep Paul's contact for future bookings.
The flat has everything you need for a comfortable stay and could not be more conveniently located. As other posters have noted, it's small, but it's very open and bright, and the kitchen area feels more spacious than it looks. I would definitely recommend the flat to other visitors to London--an excellent overall value.
