I loved my time in Patti and Jim's home. They were hospitable, sweet and helpful to this visitor. The room was darling and comfortable; breakfast was delicious and wholesome. If I'm ever back in Boston, I hope they will have me back.
Jimmy and Patti are extremely nice and friendly. They picked me up and sent me back to the T station and gave me all the help I need. The apartment is clean and tidy. I love it very much. I also appreciated the homemade bread and jam! I talked about all sorts of things with the hosts and another guest. The place is also very convenient, only 10 mins walk from T station. The neighbourhood is safe, I don't find any problems even going back at ten. I had an amazing experience!
My daughter and I came to Massachusetts to tour Boston University and had a wonderful stay at Patty and Jim's B&B. We were warmly greeted by their son and inn keeper who helped us navigate the "T" train which was situated a pleasant walk through the lovely residential town of Newton. Our darling room was private and clean, and the shower felt so good after a long day's walk. Thumbs up for Patty and Jim’s B&B!
The arrangements were very easy and the location is great. Jim and Patti are wonderful hosts who treat you as a family friend. The room is clean and the bed - memory foam - was great. The warm, homemade bread is a nice treat at breakfast.
Experience is the best teacher, Pransky has over 20 years of experience and this was evident in her services ! I booked the place for my brother in law and his wife during my graduation ceremony. My guests were extremely impressed by Pransky, she made them more comfortable than the best hotel they had ever stayed. Pransky is open minded and very cheerful, infact she drove us to the train station after our initial house checking trip. The best part of the entire stay was excellent quality of both services and cleanliness, in addition her response to emails was excellent. The room and bathroom are spotlessly clean and the neighborhood was wonderful.
I would definitely recommend the place to family and friends.
We loved our stay at Jim and Patti's house! We got greated with some amazing apple cider and even if we arrived a bit late, Patti was adamant to give us some touring tips and restaurant suggestions!
The breakfast prepared by Patti was an excellent way to start off our days in Boston and we also enjoying the little morning chats with the other houseguests!
The house is conviniently located near Newton Center T stop which is a 5 min walk away. From the T you can easily get anywhere downtown Boston with a 20-25 min train ride.
All in all, we had an amazing stay at Jim and Patti's B&B! We would go back anytime :)
Accommodation was as described, very clean and comfortable, breakfast was more than adequate. Area was beautiful, easy to get to train station and good connection into Boston center. Jim was very helpful, even picked us up at the station when we arrived. Patti was away whilst we were there so did not get to meet her. She was so helpful when we booked and had a good chat on the phone. Would recommend this B+B to anyone on their visit to Boston.
Thanks for your kind words. As per your suggestion, I am sorry you perhaps did not let Jim know you wanted hot drinks on a frequent basis. We have hot pots that upon request, we can put in people's rooms then they can make the drinks as they like. We do not afford kitchen privileges so this seems to meet the need. If you ever come back and stay with us, we will be sure to accommodate you this way.

About the Host, Jim
So glad you have booked in with us. I'm a little confused by this part of the process....never had to do this before. I think it's for you and your mom. All I can say is that we will be happy to help you have a great time here at the Park Lane.
