Interaction with Guests
I am happy to meet with guests and share my excitement and recommendation about San Francisco and the Bay Area
when they arrive. If they have questions, I am available to help. Largely, they will have a private time here.
I love my location. Public transportation runs in front of the house and I am near parks and a few blocks from Haight Ashbury. There are many restaurants and bars and the historic Castro Movie Theater only a few blocks away. Walk or ride to the vibrant Castro area. Near the historic trolley cars, the F line, which is a fun and easy form of transportation to the downtown for shopping and Fisherman's Wharf for sights. Children will love the F line.
Absolutely, It is easy to navigate in San Franicso. Hold a map in your hand and look puzzeled and many folks will help you. Public transportation is inexpensive . Tourist passes are available.
It is also possible to get around in a car if you are not afraid of big hills.

First time users with air B&B. Absolutely loved our host! Location was very convenient. We felt like we were staying with family. Great accommodations!
Corky was an incredible host. Her house is beautiful and located in a vibrant neighborhood close to many attractions. Breakfast in the morning was home cooked, delicious, and reflected her loving nature. I can't say enough good things about this stay; it helped make the rest of the trip more enjoyable.
Corky was a gracious and friendly host during our four-night stay in SF. The room and bathroom are comfortable, and we had everything we needed to feel at home. Corky went out of her way to make us feel like we were staying with family, not just a host: greeting us with homemade muffins, making us delicious breakfasts every morning, and sharing wonderful conversations about her life in SF and travels around the world.
Corky was a great host, the room was very confortable and she made very nice breakfasts.
We spent a long weekend in SF staying with Corky in the Castro. It was nothing short of fantastic! Corky was a wonderful host, providing us a fresh breakfast every morning during our stay, including some special treats from the cities best bakeries and all the coffee we could drink! The room was perfect for our needs and both it and the bathroom were clean upon arrival. Location is great and close to public transportation, or walking to most places (we walked everywhere).
She was a great host and we loved starting our day learning more about her experiences in the city and getting insider intel on where to visit and eat.
This was my first true airbnb experience and lets just say the water mark is very high after our stay with Corky.
My experience at this Airbnb was excellent. The host, Corky, is a delightful person, ready to help make one's time in San Francisco the best. Her breakfasts were always delicious, creative, and varied. Her home is clean, comfortable, and beautiful. The room was as listed, clean, comfortable, lovely; the private bathroom with shower were my access only and wonderful. The location was very good, with lovely places to walk (uphill for a spectacular view), and easy access to transportation. Nice places to eat within walking distance. I really enjoyed being there.
Corky made me feel so welcome! The room was so pretty. She furnished me with extra blankets and pillows too! The bathroom was clean as was the bedroom. There was plenty of closet space. It was bright and cozy! Before meeting Corky, I had read rave reviews of her famous breakfasts! Since I don't eat breakfast, Corky still made sure I had specialty coffee and furnished me with a coffee grinder and her french press! The coffee was incredibly delicious. She also made sure I had fresh fruit and even went ahead and made a delicious quiche for me to eat later in the day.
I appreciate all Corky did and will miss our chats on her adorable deck!
