Cozy & Quiet 2BD in Williamsburg

Apartment - Private room · South 5th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States

My cute and comfortable 2 bedroom apartment has a true Williamsburg feeling. It comfortably fits two and is located on a quiet street in a residential building one block from Hewes station. Enjoy roof access and easy access to major subway lines !

The Space

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a 1914 safe and quiet walk-up building.

Your room comes with a brand new full size bed with lavender scent sheets, topped with a fluffy feather duvet, blankets and plenty of pillows.

You will be able to easily store your clothes and belongings in the dresser, on the desk or nightstands.
I provide a hair dryer, a steamer and an iron. Bath towels are available upon request.

If you wish to use the kitchen it is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, gas stove, blender and coffee machine.

Guest Access

You will be sharing the common areas which are the living room, bathroom and kitchen with myself.

Interaction with Guests

I interact with my guests as often as my schedule and activities will allow me to. I'm practically never home as I have a busy work schedule and practice a lot of yoga.

The Neighborhood

I really love Williamsburg's fun vibe, young people, modern architecture, great restaurants and trendy bars. It's so fresh and unique !

  • Alison is a sweetheart and an excellent host. She is exceptional with communication and was very helpful with directions on how to get to her place from the airport. She had great suggestions for food and things to do in the area as well as how to get into Manhattan. Her place is nicely decorated, the room was clean and she really helped me to feel at home. It is in a great location just a two minute walk from a train stop taking you directly into Manhattan. It is also within a 10 min walk to other stations which can take you to other parts of Manhattan, Brooklyn and the other boroughs. Williamsburg Pizza is just a couple blocks away and real tasty. I recommend her and would stay here again.

  • Alison has a nice two bed apartment. It's literally two minutes from the J and M line, so it's convenient to get to Manhattan.
    I had a nice stay.

  • Only 20 minutes taxi drive from JFK, and 2 metro stops from Manhattan. Alison is very friendly and helpful. Good heating! We even had to open the window. Transport to Manhatten literally around the corner (1 minute walk). As we visited Manhattan but stayed at Alison's, we had a taste of gentrified Brooklyn too. Johan and Aygul

About
Fun, sociable, reliable, hard working and respectful. I'm easy to get along with as I come from a mixed background and I've travelled and lived in different places in Europe, Africa and the USA. Italy's Tuscany region (Florence) being my favorite vacation destination. I also loved Capetown in South Africa where I went on a Safari and saw the Big 5 (Rhino, Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard and Lion). I speak fluently English and French, got to learn at an early age Italian and started speaking Spanish a couple of years ago. I practice Bikram Yoga (Hot yoga) and Gyrotonic Pilates. I dine out a lot and I'm always curious to discover ethnic styles of cooking. I'll never say no to Italian or Indian food ! I'm addicted to NYC's indescribable energy and fast paced life. In love with my neighborhood Williamsburg since the 1st time I visited I will be glad to share and show around the magic of this up and coming neighborhood. I'm a welcoming, laid back, organized, helpful and respectful host. Barely home, the apartment will feel just like yours. I expect guests to be clean and respectful of the overall apartment but most of all to be friendly and trustworthy. My life motos : " Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication " " Travel light, spread the light, be the light "
