Interaction with Guests
We are pretty busy these days so, after the key exchange, we may or may not be around!
A coveted Sebastopol neighborhood. Maybe it's the open sky, the view, the rural feel, the nearby working family farm, the apple orchards, the vineyards, the long narrow single lane road approaching the property.
Use of 4 bicycles included -- 2 adults and 2 kids sized
Guests can walk to the very popular Underwood and Willowood restaurants in Graton (40 minutes - some uphill). It's also a very short walk to Taft winery and a 5 minute drive to downtown Sebastopol.
Other Things to Note
You might hear the neighboring roosters in the morning.
Because this is my family home, I ask only guests interested in taking care of it consider staying here. Wild partying isn't a good match here.
No cigarettes inside please.
Would love if dirty shoes stayed off the carpet and food off the couches :)
Denise left clear instructions to find her place, and we were greeted by her sweet neighbours who helped us get settled. The house was lovely and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay ! Would love to revisit for longer ! Great location close to everything we needed.
The whole process was smooth and easy. Denise the host was warm and friendly and very communicative during the booking process. She was also accommodating with my schedule when arranging for check in. The room is exactly as pictured: quiet, serene and clean (except with lots more pillows!). Having a private adjoining bathroom was great. I slept like a log until morning. The house is lovely with good energy. I did a walk around the neighborhood and neighboring vineyard just before sunset and it was gorgeous. Perfect Sonoma landscape. I even found ripe blackberries growing. I would definitely return and recommend this secret find.
Staying at Denise's house is the best option wherevere you are travelling! Nice and cozy house, beautiful neighbourhood and a great host! Bicycles, hot tube in the evening and a huge bed that makes you sleep at once;) Recommend it to everybody! We've been travelling for a few weeks and this was the best place we stayed in.
This room is great WITH an attatched bath. We found it tricky to find a room at a reaasonable rate with its own bathroom, as most are shared. Comfortable bed and bedding. Very charming appeal. In a rural neighborhood just outside of town. A lovely host, Denise was available and in communication anticpating our arrival. We will definately look her up again next time we are in the area!
The ultimate compliment... this Airbnb experience was exactly as described! This home is clean, comfortable, and cozy, and Denise's little family is welcoming and sweet. I requested this reservation very last minute and Denise accommodated us with friendliness and ease. I enthusiastically recommend The Master at Cider Springs, and hope that it is available the next time I travel to Sebastopol!
We stayed at Denise's for one night and had a great stay. The room and house were very comfortable and exactly as described and pictured. We only interacted with Denise briefly, and she was very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay again the next time we are staying in the area.
The stay in the Master at Cider Springs was fantastic. My husband I felt very welcome and at home immediately! Denise was an awesome host. She happily provided coffee when I had forgotten mine, life saver!! My husband I both enjoyed the clean spacious room, kitchen and lovely view from the porch. I hope to use this room with Denise again in the future!

About the Host, Denise
I have been very lucky in life, getting the chance to travel and live in dozens of international countries. Travel and really living internationally has been my truest passion besides my love of people and all their diversities. I grew up in Palo Alto, California and now have landed in the beautiful wine country of Sebastopol.
I can get around with my passable Kindergarten level Spanish and I also speak a tiny bit of Bahasa Indonesian.
I've become a bit of an Airbnb nerd of late. I really believe the world is a better place because of all this. My world continues to grow...
