This riad is a perfect place for a trip to Marrakech. It is marvellously furnished and the patio as well as the roof terraces are great for relaxing, in the sun or the shadow, as preferred. It was my first time in Marocco and I was very happy to stay in this riad because the owners were so welcoming and friendly and helped and assisted us with any question concerning the town. The place is very clean and calm, too. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
We had a great time staying at the Riad. It was beautiful and clean and the breakfast on the rooftop terrace was truly an oasis for me.
Sara was sweet and helpful and I enjoyed our chats especially during my cooking lesson.
I would highly recommend staying with these fine people and enjoying not only the riad but the location as well.
Bea and Christiano were amazingly gracious and generous hosts, and we'd stay there again without question. The Riad is lovely, well-situated, and a great value (and the rooftop terrace is spectacular!); however, it is almost impossible to find on your own (when you first arrive), so be sure to have Cristiano arrange transport for you. It is no problem to get around thereafter as you'll feel like a local once Cristiano gives you a little tour through the Medina. Nearby the Raid we found a great local restaurant called La Terrasse Ben Youssef were we spent hours on their rooftop terrace enjoying great food and watching the sun set and the moon rise.
Cristiano and his wife were incredibly accommodating. their beautiful riad was the perfect getaway, and in such a great location. would definitely recommend; they helped us with hammam trips restaurant advice and cooked incredible breakfast every day! thanks so much. we'll be back!
We have had many good experiences on Airbnb, but this Riad in Marrakech is truly one of the real gems. We had the pleasure of befriending Emanuele and Sarah over olives and pastis on their patio with mandarin trees under the Moroccan sun. During our stay they helped us navigate the medina, provided ample recommendations on where to go and what to eat and always went the extra mile to make our stay memorable.
We want to give them our highest recommendation and hope to one day come back ourselves.
I loved staying here at this beautiful Riad. The photos do not convey how gorgeous and tranquil this space is. I could not have been better looked after or more closely attended to by the hosts. Cristiano and crew were endlessly thoughtful and helpful, whilst at the same time creating a relaxing environment to chill out in were I felt as comfortable as if it were my own home. There is a great terrace with sun loungers and comfy sofas and tables to relax and sunbath in the Moroccan sunshine, which has total privacy for any neighbouring buildings. The Riad is spotlessly clean, my room was spacious with a lovely en suite bathroom with great shower. Indeed the whole Riad is beautifully clean and decorated in a stylish blend of Moroccan and European taste. The breakfasts are delicious (pancakes, bread, fruit, cakes...) and my stay was certainly great value for money. I would also highly recommend attending the local Haman (ask Sarah for details) around the corner for an authentic Moroccan washing experience if you have time. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this Riad to anyone visiting Marrakech looking for a peaceful and beautiful space to stay in, with warm and welcoming hosts who are fountains of local knowledge and went out of their way to make my stay as comfortable and easy as possible. I hope to return again soon. Thank you for beautiful oasis of calm and beauty.
Riad Dar Nina is a great place to stay for a whole load of reasons....
1. The two Italian couples who run the place are really fantastic - and could not be more gracious hosts. They really bend over backwards to make your stay great! And, they are really cool - and know all the right places to go! Its like a home from home.
2. The Riad is really lovely - 3 floors - we stayed in two rooms, and each was fab. Breakfast / dinner room was lovely, as was the outdoor area. Spotless place - really safe - as is the whole of Marrakech.
3. Location is great - 10 mins from Djemma el Fnaa - 20 mins from Yves St Laurent House - great local markets within 5 mins.
or less - 10 minutes from museums.
4. Great cookery classes in-house
5. Recommendations for great excursions to the desert and to the High Atlas were really great - far better than we could have imagined. Thanks to Sarah and the guys we experienced the Sahara on New Years Day - stunning!
6. Great rooftop garden right in the heart of the Medina - what more could you want!
In short - cannot recommend it highly enough - definitely 100% would stay there again in a heartbeat!
