Out in nature and off-grid, our large, 30 ft. diameter Pacific Yurt is in a beautiful setting with lots of wildlife around. We have year-round hiking trails throughout our 95 acres of woods and fields and along our large creek. This is an all off-grid camping experience with nice beds, clean sheets and a composting toilet.

The yurt is on a raised wooden platform and is a 5-minute walk up and down a dry creek bed to parking and your other amenities in our refinished barn / community center.

The space
The Light Center offers camping in a 30 ft. diameter Pacific Yurt which is off grid and in the woods. It is essentially a camping experience, with everything that goes along with that (e.g., no power or running water) There is one really great bonus during the cold, a small heaters with propane tanks are provided that will take the chill off on the cold evenings.

This beautiful structure has a raised platform floor with a deck off the front. There are windows, door and a dome skylight.

A double bed with sheets, blankets and comforter is provided. A second futon is available as well as foam mats provided so bring bedding/sleeping bag for additional sleeping. We kindly ask that you bring your own camping supplies. Fresh, clean water is available at trail head so bringing container(s) for water or bring your own water.

Please only start fires in designated fire pits. During burn bans or drought periods all fires are prohibited. All fires must be COMPLETELY extinguished upon leaving the site.

Insect spray is advised during tick and chigger season.

The Yurt is available for $65/night for up to 4 people; $10/night per additional person up to a max of 12.

Guest access
The yurt will be your space and there is an outdoor shower(seasonally) house/bathroom with camping toilets. Camping and yurt guests may be allowed into the buildings bathroom use when space is available. WiFi is available around the barn, there are places outside to sit and use your devices.

Other things to note
The Light Center is arecreational drug and alcohol free facility and we ask that you not bring or use these during your stay.
