Interaction with Guests
We are fortunate to live in an enchanting neighborhood with great streets for walking, biking and jogging. The weather is great. We will never be hosting guests when we ourselves are traveling so you will always have our total attention. We are able to direct you to local events and the many activities close by. During the summer months there are many free concerts in the area.
Great neighborhood with many walkers and joggers. A terrific area to bird watch as the wetlands are nearby. Marina Del Ray with it's magnificent ships and boats and many great restaurants are close by. Our neighbors are helpful and friendly.
Many places are within walking distance or buses are within a few blocks. For longer excursions a car is practical. Many guests have used Uber. Metro has a website to guide visitors to buses and trains ((website hidden))
We just learned a tip from a recent guest about costs of transportation leaving LAX. The minimum taxi fare out of LAX is $19.00. However, if you leave the airport terminal areas (i.e., hotels or car rental areas on free shuttles) you might get a better fare.
