Sausalito Landscape and Parking
Sausalito is a small town built in the hills overlooking the bay.
As such, some roads are narrow, and driveways can be challenging to some. Our driveways are just below our house and off of a hill. Our driveway space requires going down a short hill past the driveway, and turning around, and then entering the driveway as you come back up the hill. We will help you with this when you arrive. Most people have no trouble with this at all, but we had 1 guest who seemed intimidated, and they chose to park on the street. -- I am mentioning here just so there are no surprises. (Saualito police dept will give you a street pass with no restrictions) (But again, most people have no trouble at all)

Joe's house was fantastic. During our entire stay, my brothers and sister and I seriously kept commenting over and over on what a great place it was, how nice Joe was, and how happy we were to be staying there.
I can't recommend Joe highly enough - a great host.
My parents were visiting from the east coast and loved staying in this rustic cottage. The location couldnt have been more ideal, just a short walk to the ferry and the main street. Joe was lovely and very accommodating. The parking in the back is a bit tight, so Joe even helped my parents find parking next door. Thanks Joe.
Staying with Joe and his family was simply great. Everybody was so kind and we had always someone we could ask if we had any questions. The house is great: clean and you got everything you need. Within 5 minutes you're at the ferry or at the bus stop - either will take you to San Francisco in short time. I highly recommend anybody to stay with Joe!!! A++++++
Joe's wonderful home felt like home for us during our almost week stay. With our family of 5, including 2 teenagers and 1 three yr old, it was both very comfortable and perfectly roomy. Joe was a great host - checking in with us at least daily without it feeling overly attentive. I appreciated the vases of fresh flowers the day we arrived as well! The kitchen was nice and bright - we had everything we could need. And I loved the wall of windows/doors in the master bedroom, opening onto a higher level porch that treats you to awesome views. Staying here and using it as our home base for our trips into San Fran and up into Marin was the best way to visit. It certainly put to shame all the other places we stayed during our trip! Thanks, Joe!
Staying at Bulkley Ave was a very pleasant and positive experience for us. Loved the kitchen outfit, everything there to make life easy, especially the knives and saucepans.
Great location, easy walk down to Sausalito and great views from the house.
Joe is the best host you can get: very kind and always available. A real gentleman. And his house is amazing, spotless, with a great bay view.
It was my first time in SF and I was a bit worried to stay in Sausalito, but it turned out to be the best choice ever. Don't hesitate to stay here! You won't regret.
