MY HOME
The apartment is on the second floor of an old small traditional building from the early 1900s that faces the pedestrian area of Pigneto , the heart of the district. The house, renovated in 2013, consists of a living room with kitchen, bedroom , bathroom and roof terrace overlooking the rooftops of Pigneto. The building is located in a lovely private street within the pedestrian area, so it is really quiet.

AMENITIES
During your stay you will have access to Full HD LCD TV, DVD player, amplifier that can be used with any MP3 player, microwave, hair dryer and free internet wireless 24/24. I will also provide bed linen and towels.

THE DISTRICT
Pigneto is a genuine old fashioned neighborhood, a succession of small houses from the 1920s and narrow streets . The area is really close to the city center, and very well connected by public transport. Pigneto is the perfect location if you want to live an authentic Roman experience, and not just feel like a tourist.
My home is in the heart of the pedestrian area that every morning hosts an amazing street market with local vegetables, fish and meat, but in the evening it becomes one of the areas most frequented by young romans , who find here bars and restaurants of all kinds.
The neighborhood , now famous for being one of the liveliest and most creative in the city, in the past has been one of the favorite sets by neo-realists , who chose its streets as a setting for films such as "Roma città aperta", "Accattone" and "Bellissima"

  • The place was delightful and we spent a wonderful week in Rome ! Alessandro is a very good guest. We recommend this place for everyone who want to spend a romantic WE in Rome !

  • Staying at Alessandro's was great! The apartment is a little bit of a walk from the city centre, and the area was a little bit weird if you don't speak any Italian. But the apartment itself was incredible, clean, and the terrace was great! We cooked dinner a few nights and ate on the terrace, it was fantastic!

  • We enjoyed our stay at Alessandros place very much. It was super clean and cosy. The communication with Alessandro was super easy and he gave us all the information we needed. His friend did the check in and told us everything we had to know. The via del Pigneto is a great street with two faces: In the morning you have the market right in front of your door and in the evening it transforms (email hidden)ly place full of young people and charming cafés and bars. We loved to be there and would stay in the place anytime again.

  • Allesandros place is spotless, and the bed is very comfortable!! He was a great communicator about everything via text and email. Always helpful and kind! The neighborhood is fun and local. There is a market on the pedestrian only street outside his flat most days. Our favorite restaurant was Rosti three blocks away.

  • The flat is very nice, clean and cosy. It's not central but you can easily and quickly get the station and all the "famous" places with the buses. Alessandro is very helpful, he gives you useful informations. The restaurant just in front is perfect! We've been very happy to rent this flat!

  • Lovely home, very clean and Alessandro was always ready to help.

  • We had a great stay at Alessandro's apartment. It is wonderful, clean and everything inside is new. Alessandro is a nice and helpful host. Thank you!

  • I spent a couple of nights at Alessandro's apartment, and the least I can say is that it was perfect!

The house is beautiful, well decorated, really clean and brand new! It is located in a lovely small building in the heart of a pedestrian area, which makes you feel more in a village than in a big and cahotic city like Rome.

Pigneto area is the best you can ask for, far from the touristic mess but really close to the historical center. At night the pedestrian area is full of restaurants and bars filled of young people, and in the morning there is a great market were you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables for a very good price.

Alessandro was the perfect guest, replied real time to all my questions , gave plenty of information about public transports and things to do, and recommended some great restaurants (I tried "Primo" and it was so good!).

I can just recommend this flat!

  • Alessandro was more thank accommodating and exceeded our expectations. His apartment was clean, he gave great information, everything was modern, and he even provided maps and books of things to do in Rome. We traveled Rome by the seam of our pants and his place was the best that we stayed! Many thanks :)
