This was my first time using airbnb for a hotel reservation and it was very smooth.
The reservation was canceled 15 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Everything about the Jupiter and Shannon's assistance in booking there was painless. As new users to Airbnb we had a lot of questions that Shannon answered immediately and clearly - now that we know what we're doing, we'll make a habit of this thing!
Loved the Jupiter - they were friendly, accommodating, handled our bikes, even let us check out a bit later when the lineup at the nearby Screen Door restaurant put some pressure on our schedule. Many thanks!
The listing was as described. Hotel was in a good part of town and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Our host was very accommodating at the hotel lobby. We were greeted upon arrival, the room was very clean, and they answered all our questions!
The staff at the Jupiter went above and beyond to make our stay special. We were in Portland to celebrate my boyfriend's 40th, and they were more than happy to arrange for bubbly in the room upon our arrival, and even wrote a big greeting on our door wishing him happy birthday. They also helped with the flower and balloon deliveries to our room before we checked in. This hotel has all the right boutique elements. It can definitely get noisy at night even on the chill side, so bring your earplugs. Loved the design and all the special touches. Would definitely stay here again.
Jupiter Hotel was in a pretty perfect location for us. Front desk was very friendly, they let us check in early and leave our bags for a few hours after we checked out. Room was cute, good water pressure and comfy bed. If you need a kitchen you have to pay a bit more to use one attached to your room.

My two homes are in Portland and Paris. The majority of the time, I enjoy the Pacific Northwest in the United States. A diverse and beautiful area, I enjoy our stormy beaches, snow-capped mountains, high desert, valleys with vineyards, and metropolitan areas.
Portland is a hot-bed of alternative lifestyles and I love the indie music scene, fantastic chefs and culinary talent, craft distillers and microbrewers, artisan designers and more. I call them all friends!
I travel often and to various locales, but consider my other home Paris. My ultimate goal is to live there for at least half of the year.
